I struggled with focus, task paralysis, and things I didn't fully understand until I finally had the right guidance. Dr. Torban has helped me better understand how my brain works, adjust my medications when needed, and navigate my mental health in a way that has truly improved my quality of life. He has also helped my family better understand and support me through the process. The entire office is wonderful as well. Claire and Ms. Christina at the front desk are absolute gems. They are always kind, helpful, patient, and welcoming. I'm very grateful for Dr. Torban and his team and would absolutely recommend his office to anyone looking for compassionate and thoughtful psychiatric care.

Its taken over 10 years to write this. I was a patient of Dr. Torban in 2015. I tried to kill…read moremyself that year and was struggling with alcoholism. I asked for a medication to help me relax so I could stay sober and I guess I looked at him wrong or something because he fired me as a patient that day. I was struggling very much and he treated me like a piece of trash. But God had other plans. I ended up finding a new PCP who listened and trusted me within weeks. That doctor gave me the meds I knew I needed and I have never drank alcohol again. I used those meds for 3 years into my sobriety and I now have over 10 years sober. Dr. Torban treated me badly and kicked me when I was down. I would never recommend him to anyone. He was the only psychiatrist in my area. He left me high and dry right after a major suicide attempt. People need to be treated with respect and dignity, and this man is a typical psych person who has a lot of his own issues.

Have been to 6 previous Psychiatrists & Sleep Drs for Sleep Studies and prescriptions based on the results. None of the previous Dr's were able to help me in the least. Dr. Connelly listens intently to your symptoms & concerns, and researches for the best option to address your problem. Since 2019, I normally have only slept for 2 hours each night, then the rest of the day have had zero energy making me feel horrible both physically and mentally. He prescribed me meds and last night I slept 9 hours uninterrupted and feel like a new man!!! His Assistant, Joelle sees you in the exam room before the Dr, taking information from you and relays it to him in a manner which gives him more time to do research in order to help you quickly. The Dr's Wife Jessica is the Receptionist and along with the Dr. & Joelle, all are sincerely friendly, empathetic and extremely helpful. I could not be any more grateful for the help I've received and the way I was treated. If you or Family or Friends need inpatient assistance, Dr. Connelly is the Medical Director at Coachella Valley Behavioral Health Hospital in Indio. If anyone prefers to see him in his private practice, it is also located in Indio. Highly recommend Dr. Connelly and his Team for their top notch service!!!! Sincerely, Tom Oney

The woman has absolutely no filter or empathy for patients though she appears to at first and watch her temper! Dr Connolly is fine-- she is his pit bull and she not only bites, but is possibly rabid. Careful.

A close family…read moremember was struggling with severe depression and hospitalized twice, Dr. Keltner was very kind on the phone with me and willing to work with him. It's worth noting Dr. Keltner's main areas of specialty are addiction and chronic pain. If you cannot get in with Dr. Keltner, another psychiatrist who works in the area one day per week is Dr. Sheth in Rancho Mirage. I am familiar with him through work and find him to be extremely dedicated as well.

Anyway, if him being a bit of a communist isn't a problem for you, or you find that shit easy to ignore, Dr keltner is great. He's Harvard trained. He is understanding of your mood conditions affecting everything in your life, including your interactions with him. So don't worry too much if you have a bit of ADHD anger that slips out occasionally because he can help you with that. Anyway, this review is a bit late in coming. I haven't seen him in years. But I'll always recommend him; the only bad advice ever gave me was to go on disability. And by the way, I myself am not easy at all to get along with. And Keltner, in another review, allegedly said "being mentally ill isn't reason to be a jerk" and whether or not be really said that, it's a correct statement!!! If you disagree with it, maybe you need to be less of a jerk yourself. Because Keltner is a very soothing kind man and if you are having a disagreement with him he generally remains calm. I saw him because my EDS doctor recommended him. He's very smart about medications. He will give you exactly what you need and nothing additional. Don't expect him to dope you up, but don't expect him to be a weirdo and anti benzos or anything either. He is HARVARD trained and actually is a very smart man. Don't even bother trying to trick him.

Avoid this clinic like the black plate!!! If your insurance company assigned you here, please…read morerequest another referral. Honestly, I am considering filing a malpractice suit. And contacting the state board. Although the doctor has already lost his medical license. What these guys are doing is dangerous and illegal. Someone is going to end up seriously hurt or injured; all of the Yelp and Google reviews speak for themselves. I changed my scheduling at their request to do my appointments at a different time for my last four sessions. At that time, the treatment I received began to be less and less professional and less and less effective. During my treatment yesterday, I was literally given 84 mg of Spravato, all three doses in less than two minutes, not to mention the fact that my blood pressure was too high to even receive one dose. This intentional overdose sent me into what I could best describe as a K Hole. Today I received a phone call telling me my future sessions, which were scheduled through September, are canceled with no notice. You are supposed to be titrated off of this medication, and I'm hoping that I'm not going to experience any issues unexpectedly going cold turkey, much less the experiences of my last session with them. My initial treatments in the beginning were handled rather professionally, though there were some small things that would happen that sent up some red flags, but I was willing to let them pass. The treatment was initially working and working very well. I was feeling happy for the first time in my life. But the professionalism in the office dropped dramatically when my technician left the organization. I began to feel like I was an inconvenience and a product in an insurance factory. If they ever took a look at any of the paperwork that I filled out, they would've seen that my treatment was not progressing or that my mood was going dramatically downhill. The doctor has lost his medical license for procedural reasons. The clinic no longer follows safety protocols or professional protocols. Not once did they ask me if I was driving hell, I could've driven.
