It's also the sight for moms looking for alternative birthing options. It's family and child friendly once you step into this store. The parking lot is devoted to expectant moms even. For those NOT expecting there's great gifts for your expectant friend, I personally came in and bought some leg warmers for my friend's newborn daughter. I browsed through the eco-friendly food containers, baby teethers, baby slings, reusable breast pads and dun dun dun!! I found Charlie Banana's eco-friendly feminine pads. Rewashable and eco friendly, and especially $$ friendly in the long run. At $18 a box for 3 pads with a wet bag it saves in the future. Especially for girls who don't need a big box of pads that they sell in the stores. It's something to consider. I kind of had a hard time finding the place because the signage isn't that big off the back road and lets be honest I was distracted by the beautiful water front on that I was driving along. Plus they also gave me a 5% military discount. Bring on the military spouses! Done!

So, I bought some stuff online and returned to this store. This store has really friendly associates from my experience. I was standing behind some guy who was griping because the clothes he was buying his kid cost too much and how he didn't get any service and he was making the girls feel bad for "standing around" as he put it...well the girls handled it really well and apologized for the way the man felt. Most A&F stores I've shopped are a bit pretentious and employees probably would have been rude to him-especially in New England, but I didn't get that feeling at the Destin store. I returned my items and left and everyone was pleasant. And I must say I have 3 pairs of the shorts and wear them almost every day because they are AMAZING. So soft, so comfortable...I LOVE THOSE SHORTS and their little string strap shirts are super comfy too. Loving me some A&F right now.

The way I saw it, this manager did NOT care about what we customers were thinking. I don't remember the issue very well . . . The younger employee wouldn't put up with being mistreated, so she refused to do what the manager said. Then I saw the manager put her hands on the other employee, and that's when I and a lot of other customers left. I don't know what happened to that young employee, but assume it can't be good, because it looks like that manager has a good degree of control in that place. I will not be back, and likely many other customers won't, either. :(

There was a sales person in every section who were attentive and willing to help if we needed it.
