Sometimes I go into boutiques and can't afford anything because they like their stuff a little TOO much ($$$) but this place is actually affordable! I got the cutest romper for 30$ and was able to try it on first in their cute dressing rooms. They also had fun socks and yummy smelling candles! This is now a must stop when we visit the lake!

I have shopped at Talbots for many many years, in different cities and states and have always be treated with great respect. The sales assistants are courteous and have gone out of their way to help me find the right item, nothing has ever been any problem. Many of my friends also shop in Talbots. I am sure online shopping will always be available, not everyone has a store close to their home. I have also used the on line shopping and again have received the same great service.

When I first though of Talbots I pictured bright, floral prints with paisley shirts for Spring, color block designs for Fall with A-frame/Rectangle silhouettes but there styles have evolved to incorporate eumelanin and pheomelanin skin tones and hourglass shapes. The current fall collection colors are mustard, plum, burnt orange and the classic blacks and navy blue. They are currently running a 30% sale on all items and classics never go out of style. The sales lady informed that some of their current items are limited because they do not know what they will be shipped at any given time! Psst, you can get that little black dress right now for under $121!

The best part about the boutique was the people though. The owner and the other lady who helped me find the right outfits were not only helpful but they were real-- I hate when store employees tell you everything looks good on you just to make a sale. They actually helped me find the perfect pairings and fits. And they were just warm, friendly people in general. I will definitely be back!

I have driven past this store for a few years now and I finally decided today was the day I would…read moreget out and explore it. Good- It reminds me of the boutiques you see while walking through the French Quarter in New Orleans. Very eclectic and uniquely artistic. They have bright neon colored decor and flamboyant 1/2 mannequins with full makeup on dripping in costume jewelry. I was mesmerized more by the way the store was presenting its wares, than the actual products themselves. I saw a couple of super cute, but expensive jackets, and a beautiful tie- dyed tube dress. They have Miss Me jeans, cute sun dresses, and lots of interesting items, that you are sure not to find everywhere. Bad- It looked kind of hit or miss with the offerings. I was in the store a good five minutes or so, before anyone even bothered to muster up a greeting, and it was half hearted at that. Almost as if, she could hardly be bothered. Hey, everyone has an off day, but if even you don't want to be in there, who will? Maybe they could use some fun music to liven the place up. Unfortunately, the entire experience was worthy of only 2.5 stars, but that's not an option. Ugly- Nothing bad to report although, I will say this store would fare much better in Austin. It is certainly not going to appeal to everyone, as it seems a bit outlandish with a few designers I have seen do well in Europe. The sheeple that like all things beige and typical of Woodland's mall attire, may struggle to find something that fits in with their crowd. Personally, I think it would be fun to dress up like some of the mannequins. I really liked their neon colored tutus. They were down right cute! This of course is coming from a die hard NOLA fan and people are just more funky and fun there.

What an absolutely beautiful ladies boutique. The clothing selections are so stunning. You can find…read moreone of a kind pieces here. From ladies dresses, tops, rompers and jewelry. The sales associate was so darling. She was upbeat and personable. I planned on buying a gift for my friend but bought me two stunning pieces of jewelry or in this case two pieces of art. Two unusual but classy pieces of jewelry. The first piece was a necklace with a horn and several cream and lapis colored beads. It's a 24 inch necklace and very much a statement piece. The second piece was about a 20 inch chain with a touch of two metals and a piece of Amber. I love both of these one of a kind necklaces. I've worn them several times and get tons of compliments. Finally, they gave a prayer tree. Write down a person on a sheet of paper and why someone should pray for them. What a creative and thoughtful thing to do.

They have so much linen and silk and nice breezy fabrics to offer. In just a short 20 minute cruise through the store I easily saw half a dozen to a dozen items that I liked. Another unique thing this store has to offer is that their fashion is targeted toward adults. So often, boutiques have fashion targeted toward teens and young twenty somethings or retirees. I don't fit into either of these categories, so finding a store that was targeted toward adults was super exciting. Although I wasn't in the market to actually buy anything, I walked out with a dress that's going to be perfect for a number of concerts I'm going to in the next couple months and a birthday dinner party. I can't wait to go back to the store for another special find.
