Mark is knowledgeable and dedicated to his work. He helped me with many of the questions I had during one of the worst time's of my life, the consequences of which I am still experiencing physically and long term. Albeit the results were not what I wished for, I understood that Mark attempted his best and still represented me to date, so I am grateful for his work. Unfortunately, the remainder of Mark's team is highly unprofessional and failed at simple tasks that they were hired to help me with. 5 months into my accident, I did not receive wage loss compensation that I was entitled to due to lack of communication and follow up from Joseph, the paralegal. I sent all the paperwork in to them within a month of my accident, but the email was quite literally ignored. I followed up another month later with little reply back. 5 months to date now, they never got in touch with me or helped me get what I am entitled to - wage loss compensation. I contacted the insurance adjuster on my own, who advised that the law office failed to send them required forms. The work that Shaevitz and Shaevitz failed to do in 5 months, I completed in under 2 days and was awarded the full amount for wage loss compensation. This was really disappointing to see the consistent lack of communication by the Shaevitz and Shaevitz team as it pertained to this. They also failed to follow up with other essentials tasks - I asked them for a summary of the funds spent on No Fault health insurance benefits, to which they never replied to me. I ended up utilizing my private insurance at times, where I have a high co-pay, due to fear of not having no fault funds. Once again, the adjuster helped me address this while the law office failed to. As it turns out, I'll be having IME check in soon to evaluate basic PT and health expenses, which the law office never mentioned once. Overall, I cannot not recommend Shaevitz and Shaevitz due to their demonstrated sloppy work and inconsistency. Frankly, Mark's team does not have their client's best interest at heart. This business is an evident demonstration of people who talk more than they do. I highly recommend you seek law representation elsewhere, or that Mark reevaluates his staff's competency in achieving required tasks. Mark is clearly very equipped at the job he does, but the team representing him is not up to par.

Instead, letters were sent to my old address asking me to contact their secretary without an extension for said secretary. Luckily the post office forwarded properly. This law firm also has multiple times accused me of lying regarding my independent medical examination even after the claims handler from Geico (they are another whole story but here I will give credit when credit is due) told the Sanders law firm that I had legitimately rescheduled my IME and had a legal right to do so under NY no-fault law. Instead, I kept getting harassed about the IME by a worker from the law firm who barely spoke clear enough English for me to understand her messages. The attorney originally assigned to my case involving a car accident where some useless millenial totaled my car, fought my case with 'kid gloves' and even passively allowed my own insurer to boot me off of "no fault" without a fight. A well known orthopedic surgeon said I needed shoulder surgery yet Geico's charlattan who saw me for 2 minutes said my shoulder was fine. Believe me, I have plenty of better things to do than go under the knife. I am a father of 3 and just had to move out of state for work and school. The lawyer instead of ripping Geico, chastized me for having the audacity to try conservative means to avoid surgery. My wife is not home much and has some health issues so I am the main "homemaker" with my children and I do all of the physical work with regards to housework and unpacking from the move. I also believe that the lawyer assigned to my case fought my case with kid gloves because the useless millenial who totaled my car and injured me only has a 25K policy limit which means that the absolute most that the law firm can recover is roughly 8.3K so my case is worth 'peanuts' to them. Meanwhile, my own wife takes care of very sick patients, many of whom are on "capitation" meaning that insurance pays her 5 dollars a month regardless of what procedures/treatments are done. Do the math- one visit in a calendar year period and my wife loses yet she still does her professional best with these patients. Unfortunately, the Sanders law firm does not abide by such ethics.
