We got two breakfast sandwiches; sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant & the ultimate bagel (sausage, bacon, and ham). Both were excellent. Croissant was buttery and the sandwich was delicious and not greasy. The bagel was also delicious, pillowy and light. To drink we got the BEST fruit tea in the passion fruit flavor. I've been missing these from where I live in California and this was perfect. Second drink was a coconut mocha. Also delicious. Fantastic coffee, no bitterness, and the chocolate coconut flavor was perfect. We went late in the day but they still had a great selection of donuts. We did a box of a half dozen (cream cheese filled, custard filled chocolate long John, maple old fashioned, sugar twist, and two maple bacon long Johns. And the owner was kind enough to give me a bonus fritter. Hands down best donuts in central MN. This is what a donut shop should be. The inside shop is so cute and extremely clean. There are plenty of places to sit if you'd like to enjoy your food or beverage there. 10/10 recommend if you're anywhere near Monticello or wanting a a well worth road trip. And now you have to pay at the table do you realize a lot of older adults don't have cards they use cash old school. And now the wait staff have to carry there own change to pay the customers and at the end of there shift they have to pay Perkins. That's bullshit they don't make that much and now they have to use their hard owned money to give change to customers. We are not eating at casinos we are at a restaurant, you keep doing what you are doing people are no longer going to come because of what you are doing. The customer should not be told when they go to the front you have to go back to your table to pay. Are you trying to eliminate all your staff those women come there do to there best job and now you expect more out of them,they don't know if they're coming or going that is not right. This is 2026 we are suppose to make it easier for people not treat them let they are less, for doing their job.
