Love the finds in here! Found the perfect little unique chair and pillow. Will always take a look in here when I'm in Tubac.

My hope for this email is that it reaches someone who is in upper management. I have been a client…read moreof the Tucson location since it was located back on Helen St. back in 1998 ish... a return client, despite the gradual demise to where it is located now on Speedway. I was in today with 4 nicely packed bags of mostly brand new clothes, and ended up being there for 2 hours, which was extremely inconvenient. The apparent "manager" - all she did was flit around the floor, flipping her hair all over the place, stopping here and there to answer super easy questions from the enormous number of employees doing....? What exactly, I don't know. I watched many at the buyer desk who appeared to be completely lacking in fashion knowledge dump out bags, only to fold almost everything nicely back into the bags I brought. Taking next to nothing, and not only from me, but from the numerous people who went before me. Now I'm no expert but I'm 56 and experienced in fashion and also have common sense and a sense of what the general public might be looking for-not just the BE employee's friends. In my opinion, 1/3 of what's on the floor will sell. What happens to the rest I wonder. My intention is not to be cruel here, and the person who checked me out, because yes, on the positive side I found some cute stuff, was very very sweet listening to my complaints there today. My intention is that someone in charge will at least assess this location and provide education where it's needed. I won't be back-there are too many much easier and profitable ways to sell.

I needed some rockin' 80s gear for a costume party and thought I could find some leg warmers here…read more Nope, this ain't your hoarder grandmammy's thrift store. There were some household items (e.g. sets of glasses and a shabby chic dining table). Clothes were neatly displayed and in some cases sorted by brands. I saw quite a few from Hollister, Forever 21 and Express. The fitting room attendant and cashier were both very helpful and sweet. If you bring in items to sell, you have the choice of: 30% of what they will price your item in cash or 50% of their price in store credit. I walked out with an Express dress (new with tags) for $17 and some righteous 80s footwear for $9. I'll be back again when I have the time to browse and find the good stuff.

I don't like having to spend a lot to make what is recycled mine. Twice As Nice charges way too much for most of their clothing. Most of their stock is outdated and obviously used. I totally get the whole trade-in concept - it's obvious that to make this business model work, Twice As Nice prays on it's consumers' desperation for something new to them. If U go for the cash option, U are seriously losing out, as it's half as much as the stingy trade-in exchange rate. The buyers at Twice As Nice have a way of dissing U and Ur previously loved items, usually only selecting a few of what U thought was some really good stuff. Kids clothing really isn't worth anything to them, so don't expect to get any serious credit for those adorable name brand items U splurged on, but the baby grew too fast. T-As-N is kinda fun to pop in to, every now & again, to see what they got in, especially if U are a penny-pincher and have time to kill.

We parked there to go to lunch a few doors down and as I was wheeling my friend away the lady chases us down and insists we get our car (with the handicap tag) out of there as her vendors need to use that unmarked spot. Here she is, all bitchy, looking at my friend in the wheelchair, insisting we get out of her spot. What an experience, my friend, his wife, and I will not forget.

So you would expect most of the clothes to be best suited for older people, and some of them are. But actually I found several things I liked when I went in. I hadn't actually been planning on buying anything; I went in to browse and came out with a very pretty pink dress that was perfect for attending my sister's college graduation. I found the staff extremely friendly, making small talk as I checked out, asking if I was buying the dress for a special occasion, telling me a little bit about themselves. It had a very family-business-feel, though I don't know if it is, and very relaxed. There was no coming up while I was browsing the racks and trying to pressure me into buying anything. I was given my space and I really like that when I'm shopping. And the clothes were quite inexpensive. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I'd be happy to drop by again.
