I promise you; the low starrage isn't due to the fact that there were naked guys everywhere. Yes, naked guys everywhere are annoying, but I've lived in San Francisco so long now that they don't bother me. Not in the slightest. In fact, my friend and I needed chairs for the sweet table we snagged, and the only empty chairs were next to groups of naked guys. So I went up to each group separately and asked very politely if I could grab the chairs. After we had sat down, I noticed that not all of the naked guys were using towels like they're supposed to. Like many other-people's-hygiene gross-outs in life, I ignored this one. I mean, I ride BART ten times a week, so if I'm not dead or E. colied yet, what's a naked guy's butt going to do to my clothes?
No, the low starrage is due to its still temporary feeling. And the loudness of the F-Market & Wharves. I love the F trains, and I realize they need to be ringing their bells so as not to run over naked guys. But we were eating lunch, and hearing those bells over and over and over was more unpleasant than looking at the naked guys was unappetizing. Oh, and like the true gentleman I am, I didn't gripe that my dining companion got the naked-guy-free view. What kind of a bet winner forces a young lady to look at naked guys? Not this bet winner.
