Tara was incredibly helpful from the beginning, coordinating my son's care with his orthodontist and clearly explaining the transition from our former dentist. She was also completely transparent about insurance, billing, and costs, providing everything in writing and by email so both my husband and I understood exactly what to expect. Dr. Basani is phenomenal. She took time to speak with me before my son's appointment, carefully explained every option, and shared what she would do for her own child. She is compassionate, gentle, and has an exceptional bedside manner. My son said he felt absolutely nothing during treatment and, for the first time, left the dentist happier than when he arrived. Dr. Basani reassured him that his hygiene was excellent and that the issue was simply related to how his tooth was growing in. He never felt frightened or blamed. Our entire family will now be moving to Media Dental Arts. From the beautiful environment and outstanding care to the transparency and genuine kindness, this practice is truly special. Everyone at Tyma Trachtenberg Dental is extremely professional, courteous, and they take a genuine interest in you as a person, and your dental health. They explain how every dental procedure works, even the simplest ones involving a routine cleaning. All of their equipment is state of the art and they do their best to make each individual comfortable. You do pay upfront for your services but the office staff takes care of submitting your claim to insurance and you get reimbursed depending on what your plan covers. I see Dr. Bullock for my exams and he is simply the best. If anyone hated going to the dentist before, they would have a complete change of heart after going here. Their positive outlook is infectious and I always feel great when I leave. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I had a cleaning done by excellent hygienist. She was apologetic for having to work so hard on my teeth but honestly no one had done such a thorough job before. I had my prior X-rays sent over and they were able to upload it without issue. Dr Paola was nice and professional. I was able to qualify for their smile program for free teeth whitening. Lori was my dental hygienist, and she explained everything in a way that was informative, but didn't make me feel like she was trying to sell me on anything. She approached it in a way I that was friendly and caring, so that I could possibly consider a few things for future, such as a mouthguard or Invisalign for my bottom teeth. She gave me the "comforting mom" experience, which was very sweet, because I'm a grown woman who is a big baby at the dentist (specifically needles in my gums for cavities!) Then came Dr. Nguyen. He couldn't have been more adorable if he tried. He was very friendly and genuine, which is a testament to his practice because EVERYONE in that whole building was friendly. For example, my twins started seeing him at a very young age, one twin had a terrible gag reflex and needed some work. Because of his special needs, he was referred to a Pediadontist, while the other twin was able to have all of her needs met with Dr Weinberger at that time. I have had other extensive medical needs, Dr Weinberger was always compassionate and coordinated my dental needs with the other things going on medically to the best extent possible. I have full trust in any of his recommendations. He is very gentle and compassionate. I still don't like needing to go to any dentist, but if I must go, Dr Weinberger is the only one for me! My wife needed Invisalign, and we chose to pay our portion upfront to receive a discount -- trusting the practice to handle billing properly. Phoenixville Dental was supposed to file two insurance claims. The first was filed and paid without issue. The second, however, appeared to be filed incorrectly and was denied. Rather than investigating the denial with the insurance company, the Office Manager billed us directly and threatened to send the balance to collections -- despite our spotless payment history and her inability to explain why the claim was denied. After lengthy back and forth, she asked us to pay out of pocket temporarily while she re-filed the claim. We agreed, trusting her. That was a mistake. She later claimed the claim had been filed, but offered no proof, and it did not appear on our insurance portal. After repeated follow-ups, she finally sent us a copy -- and the lack of detail on the claim was striking. It was denied again. To make matters worse, treatment was never completed. The practice was sold to a new doctor who showed some initial willingness to continue, but eventually informed us he hadn't been paid for the work and therefore could not proceed. We lost money, time, and still didn't receive the care we paid for. We would not recommend this practice.

I've flirted with the idea of invisalign but I've also never felt pressured to go through with the process. I'm pretty surprised by the other negative reviews.
