Each time I was told someone was in front of them in person and I would be called back later. Clearly prepaid services don't take precedence. Then it took 5 days to get the obituary posted and I had to call to remind them to post it. And I was told death certificates would be ready mid-week. No one called to let me know they were ready. I had to call to check the following week. They were ready, but I should have been notified. When you are dealing with a death in the family, the last thing you want to have to do is make repeated phone calls to get the most basic service. I would have gone elsewhere if I had the option. Communication was terrible.

Two of them failed to disclose all their fees until I asked additional questions (based on my research), one of them was double the price of the other three, and the fourth one was Direct Cremation Services. I met with a gentleman named Kip, who didn't try to upsell me, and gave me a package that met my requests. The costs were significantly lower than the other three places. He assured me that Direct Cremation Services would take care of everything, and explained both the logistical process and the paperwork/payment process. When my mother passed away, on a weekend, Kip returned my (notification) call, emailed me the link to take care of the documents, and immediately send his team out to transport my mother's remains. He told me the paperwork could wait until Monday. Thereafter, everything went as promised, and I picked up my mother's "cremains" yesterday. An unbelievably smooth process during a difficult time. I can't recommend this place enough.

The inside of the home is very updated and well maintained with contemporary decor all throughout. The chapel did not reek of any odors. The chapel was very well maintained, bright and uplifting lightening and plenty of sitting available. As you go near the restrooms they have pictures with scriptures for grieving. And beverages in the mini fridge. The floral arrangements was simply amazing, and we were pleased with the florist that they are contracted with, as our flowers continue to bloom and not wilter. Throughout the whole service, Matt was very respectful and handled the service with great diligence and did not rush us out. He made sure our guests were comfortable and even offered beverages etc, before the service and always asked my family member questions and repectfully reminded us of our itinerary without being pushy. The second part of the service, was at our final destination, in which we had a nice canopy, privacy screen, and a nice seating arrangement everything was just amazing and a beautiful homecoming service for my family member. 5+ stars on everything and I highly recommend this place.

Katherine was incredibly competent, knowledgeable and most importantly compassionate. When I first reached out to her, she didn't think she would be able to help me, but she kept trying to even after we had hung up the phone. When she reached back out, she had solutions, options, and knew exactly what needed to happen. Carewell was exactly what we needed, and my family and I are incredibly thankful to have found them. Thibadeau Mortuary Service was a real blessing for my family in a trying situation. We needed help quickly to accommodate family so they could get my mother's ashes before they left the area. Thibadeau took care of us at our convenience, we were able to drop off and pick up, a gentleman even helped me carry the heavy veteran's urn to my car. An experience that I expected to be awkward, was made comfortable by caring and respectful staff, on the phone, by email and in person. We will appreciate their kindness forever.
