Weeks later we found a water pipe flowing water into an obscure area of our yard and noticed that our new landscaping lights weren't working on that side of our yard. We called Tholl and let them know about the damage and they told us that it is our responsibility to inform them of the location of pipes and underground electrical, so they wouldn't take any responsibility for the damage and they wouldn't repair the damage. Now the Tholl employees never told us about the damage and just literally buried it and went away. We paid another contractor to find the wiring issue and repair the water pipe damage since Tholl was not responsive to their damage. We had an outstanding balance with Tholl that was equal to the $1,500 we paid to fix their damage and informed them that we wouldn't pay for their damage. Tholl turned this over to a collection agency that tried very hard to effect our credit scores and would not listen to our side of the story. Bottom line is Tholl did did a mediocre job, damaged our property and wouldn't accept responsibility for their poor workmanship or fix the damage. Then turn us over to a collection service! Learn from our mistake and be cautious with this company. I wish we had researched their reputation before hiring Tholl. Thanks!

I'm so glad we found This and That Fence to get a second opinion: the price was lower than what the first person was quoting, but also the level of detail, responsiveness and service Paul provided was incredibly top notch. After walking the yard with us, we received a highly detailed quote of the work ahead (both drawings and written details). This was enough to give us confidence to move forward and schedule with Paul. Every step of the way leading up to the scheduled work date, Paul kept me informed and kept in the loop which I really appreciated. Paul also was able to adhere to what our HOA guidelines asked for, so that there was no risk to the job performed. He was also able to modify the quote based on a shared fence line with a neighbor, bringing the price down a bit more while still providing a good section of fence to be replaced for confidence. Paul finished in a solid two days and we are so amazed by the quality of the work his team completed for us! Thank you, Paul - we will highly recommend you to anyone in need!

We recently worked with Servando on a full kitchen remodel, and I can confidently say he is the…read morebest contractor I've ever worked with. Our project was extensive--he handled moving utilities, prepping for cabinets and countertops, installing appliances and new lighting, relocating a large kitchen window, drywall, and installing brand new engineered hardwood flooring. He also retiled our fireplace, built a new mudroom, and relocated our laundry room with new machine installs. Every aspect of his work was top-notch. I work with vendors and contractors all the time in my profession, and Servando was by far one of the easiest and most professional people I've worked with. He communicated clearly and effectively throughout the entire project, was always on time, and kept the worksite extremely clean and organized. One thing I especially appreciated was that if I gave him information or directions that didn't seem quite right, he wouldn't just blindly move forward--he would ask thoughtful questions to make sure we were making the best decision possible. That level of communication and attention to detail made a huge difference and really helped ensure the project came out perfectly. Another thing that stood out was how honest and straightforward he was with pricing. There were no surprise change orders, no ballooning costs, and no unexpected price increases that we weren't aware of ahead of time. If something was going to cost more, he clearly communicated it upfront and explained why. It was incredibly refreshing to work with someone who made us feel like he genuinely cared about the project instead of trying to take advantage of it financially. Any time we had questions or minor concerns, he stayed calm, listened, and worked with us to come up with the best solution. His pricing was extremely fair, especially considering the quality of work. In fact, the only regret I have is not awarding him the cabinets and countertops portion of the job. We went with a cheaper bid from another company to save a couple thousand dollars, and it turned into a nightmare. Servando was the complete opposite experience. If you want a contractor who will do things right the first time, stay on schedule, communicate well, and deliver high-quality results, Servando is your guy. I highly recommend him for any project.
