Came here for my full set classic lash extensions and it was great. Really liked my set and the music that was playing was amazing. Definitely loved how they offer you water if needed and everyone there was so nice. They have a little book for recommendations or some suggestions you would like. Definitely will be coming back soon. read more

Great place to get your lashes done! The place is very cute and the staff are personable. I have been coming here for the past few years and love getting my lashes done here! read more

Always so happy with my lashes! Aida does a phenomenal job! Great retention, great mapping, and appropriate fullness to the style I book!

The first time I went I got a lash lift and it was great, lasted about 6 weeks. Went back 2 months later for a full classic lash extension set, it was a new tech that they offered 25% off the set, she was okay but I got poked a couple times by her and she rushed the set. But that person left and now I go see Tana. I highly recommend Tana! She is incredible. She obviously is highly skilled at lash retention and placement but you can ask her for any type of style and she will try to make it work for you. read more

Very friendly and professional. I got the classic lashes and they look amazing! So happy with my results and can't wait to come back!

I finally was able to come to this salon since I was in the area and booked a refill. I had just gotten a refill a few days prior at the salon i normally go to but they did not add any volume and I didn't like how they came out. SINCE i had just gotten a refill I had a great amount of lashes on my eye. definitely more than 50%. When I got to my appointment my lash tech asked if I have ever been here before.. I said yes once several months ago. she then proceeded to brush through my lashes and say that I had less than 50% of lashes "from the last time i was here" and that I would have to be charged for a full set. I didn't argue, but was left confused. I completely understand some lash salons do not work on other lash techs work.. if that's the case.. i would have loved to been AWARE of this salons rule since I couldn't find it anywhere on their social media's or website or even in the salon. I was charged $180 for what was a REFILL due to the fact that the appointment barely took an hour and had a great amount of lashes already on Another thing I would like to point out is how UNPROFESSIONAL my lash tech was. When I came in she didn't really bother to ask what I wanted or seem to care. I had pictures I wanted to show her but didn't get a chance, I was only able to get the word "volume" out before she got on a PHONE CALL right as she was prepping my lashes. I usually have no issue with lash techs having to take calls during an appointment, however she was on the phone for a good half hour which is extremely annoying when someone is talking over an inch above your face and you can hear the other person on the other end of the phone. I wasn't even able to communicate what I wanted the set I was paying $180 to look like. I will say though, both times i've been here my lashes turned out pretty good and last a long time. if you're not the type of person to care about professionalism and just want decent lashes.. this is the place for you. read more

I've came here when this place first opened! I get mainly lash lifts. Some ladies do a great job and some are okay. I needed a lash lift for my vacation decided to come here again. Dila did an AMAZING job! I am going to start coming back here just for her because my lashes are nice and curled! Love them! read more

Jamilya’s Lashes - Eyelash Service Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I have been coming to Jamilya lashes for years. She is super professional, kind and truly amazing. She goes above and beyond to ensure you love your services. They have an amazing app to book your appointment and they have an amazing staff. I highly recommend Jamilya's for lash extensions. read more

I came here a few years ago and still remember the terrible experience I had here. I went about 3 times in the fall of 2019. The first time Jamilya actually did my lashes and they looked great. The other two times, I had her assistant who was very rough and condescending to me. She did my sets quickly and I would flinch at times, to which she said something along the lines of, "You flinch as if you don't trust me, this is my line of work and is insulting to me, I know how to do this." My lashes would fall out so quickly and look sparse within days. I would ask in the office if my lashes were supposed to look like that to other women who got their lashes done and was told that shouldn't look like that so quickly after my appointment. When my lashes came off, my natural lashes felt shorter than they usually were. I ended up getting my lashes off on a trip home where my lash tech was horrified at what they looked like and what my experience had been. I had to use lash serum for months after. Kinda bummed writing this as I really wanted to like this studio. I'm still nervous to get lash extensions again. read more

I needed to reschedule an appointment at the last minute because my husband was in emergency surgery, and they still charged the cancelation fee. No human kindness shown. I wasn't totally happy with the work they had done, but was willing to give it a second shot until this happened. read more

i love this place! staff is so sweet and very easy to communicate with if you're late or need to change your appointment. i've been to multiple lash places in chicago and this has been the best place BY FAR. as someone who has been getting lash extensions for 5 years i'm very picky! Nassy does my lashes and does a fantastic job. she is always sweet and gentle (i fall asleep every time)! very clean business as well. read more

I came In to get a full set. Sabina did my lashes and she did a good job but it was done in an hr. I asked to Come back bc it wasn't full enough. Was granted the okay only for me to get charged AGAIN a checkout. I wouldn't mind paying again if that's what we discussed PRIOR to coming in. The receptionist was rude and accused me of Leaving without paying and hung up on me. I was actually trying to book another appointment. So much for a thief. Any way I will never patronize this business again. I'm extremely upset at the level I was treated. Jamilya said she didn't remember the convo bc she has soooo many clients. Like that has anything to do with me lol. Anyway this review is a direct reflection on the way I was treated as a customer. I will never recommend this place to any of my girls and I recommend they hire a new receptionist or reviews like this will continue. Good luck to anyone that chooses to go here. read more

Just moved here from LA and I have been getting my lashes done off and on for the past five years. I know how to take care of them and what the process is like. I got a hybrid set here and after only 3 days they started twisting and wouldn't go back into place. By the end of week one I had to have them removed because they just looked crazy and were poking me in the eye. Probably would not recommend. read more

I'll start by saying this is the first time I've had lash extensions so I didn't know what to expect. The shop was very nice and clean and the tech was very nice as well. The process took about two ours which was 45 minutes longer than I was quoted. Not a big deal but kind of annoying. I got the hybrid lashes and within a few hours of getting them done they are started falling out. It's only two days later and the ones on my right eye are almost completely gone.Like I said this is my first time with extensions but I don't think this is normal. I've been taking care of them and not using any oil products but I keep losing them. I'm going elsewhere this week to have them removed and replaced. read more

Great lash job everytime I come in which has been for many years now- Very clean studio and nice staff!

I will never come back. I've been seeing Nass every week. Apparently she quit and no one notified me. My technician was just changed and they told me when I arrived. I came in at 11am and didn't leave until 1:15pm for a fill in after I told the technician Brittany that I had to go. Two plus hours for a fill-in is ridiculous. My lashes are not done and my eyes look different from each other. To make matters worse the technician Brittany got the tape stuck to both of my bottom lashes and took 10-15 minutes just to get it off not to mention It hurt. Worse $80 I've ever been charged and then the credit card machine was down as well. read more

Very clean, cosy atmosphere, amazing personnel, fast feedback and the most beautiful lashes done here! I also got generous discount as a 1st time client and got here the most amazing oil that actually made my lashes grow! Highly recommend!!! read more

Always amazing service! This is the third time I have gone to them and every time I realize that they take pride in the work and experience that you have. Very thorough and gentle. Thanks for the efforts and dedication. See you in two weeks:)! read more

I can't in good conscience recommend this shop. My lashes lasted less than a week and I lost a huge percentage of my natural lashes. Now I feel bald. This experience was such a disappointment. I had a big event and I went to it looking cockeyed. read more

Well, I went last week to get my lashes done. And I had great experience and service . Girls are really professionals and nice. For sure will come back. Thank you ladies. read more

Do not come here. I went for a lash lift and tint and literally have 0 results. No curl at all in the lash. I have long eyelashes and have had this service done at other salons. This is subpar - to say the least. Don't waste your money. read more

Went in twice by now. First got it done by Assye, second time as well because it lasts around 2.5-3 weeks for me. Still. They came out very nice and it looks naturally good. They ask you the length you want as well. read more

Anna did my lashes, and she seemed irritated from the moment I stepped into her room. She spoke in a condescending tone no matter what lashes I showed her. Huffing and puffing. I showed her pictures, we decided on length and shape. The whole hour and a half she was doing my lashes she huffed and puffed. She poked me in the eye repeatedly, got my lashes stuck under the pad so she had to pull it out. She rushed through it from start to finish. When I finished and walked outside where I could see more closely in the light I realized I have TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT eyelash looks for each eye. She did my left eyelash so much thicker than my right. The right eyelash was immediately losing hairs and looking less full within an hour of leaving. I won't be coming back. read more

I have been multiple times now and have always seen Jane. She is professional and takes the time to make sure she understands what you're needing. She is also super gentle and wants to be sure you are comfortable before getting started. I have cancer, I have lost most of my lashes and Jane has done an amazing job with making my lashes look natural, as if I have a little extra volume with just a bit of mascara. I love them! I know they can do much more but she has done exactly what I've asked and she takes the time to be sure it's exactly what I was seeking. I'll keep coming back here and ask for Jane. I have witnessed some of the other techs, some listening and singing along with their personal music when the salon music has their music on too- super annoying. But I pointed it out to Jane and - that stopped. Again, she looks after your comfort and satisfaction throughout. read more

Got my lashes done and I love the result, the ladies speak Russian but they do know English. Comfortable relaxing area. read more

Amazing service, price and results!! I've visited Jamilya's salon a couple times now. The space is super cute and clean. Jamilya's work is excellent: I always leave with super fluffy awesome lashes that last until the next fill. I highly recommend coming here as it's easily the best service in Chicago. I've tried the really expensive places downtown and they don't come close. Seriously amazing. They do other services as well like waxing and make-up. read more

I am so surprised that this place does not have more reviews! I have been to a number of places for eyelash extensions and this place is honestly the best. I always get hybrid eyelash extensions and they do an incredible job! I have also done eyebrow lamination with them and loved the results! The prices are very fair and the people are so kind. Honestly, this place is a hidden gem. Don't hesitate to book with them! read more

I went in with high hopes after a friend recommended. I explained to the tech how my lashes were short because I had pulled off eyelash extensions myself and asked if it would be an issue. Tech reassured me and said it wouldn't be an issue and proceeded to do the lash lift and tint. Towards the end she told me how my lashes were too short and it wasnt grasping. Not only that, but something was dropped in my eye causing it to burn. I was extremely disappointed and reached out to the owner and did not receive a response or follow up. Had I known there was a chance of my lashes not lifting I would have waited to get the service done. I am extremely disappointed with service and overall experience. read more
