I made sure to ask ho much the appointment…read morewas going to cost and then the day of and only 1 hour and 20 minutes before the appointment did they call to say that they messed up and now its double the price so I made them look up our dental insurance plan which they claim was inactive but I went ahead a canceled since by the time they told me that I either had to leave or not go and so I called someone else in town and guess what they found the insurance for dental to be active. If you wanted me to cancel and use someone else just say it.

I came in for a routine physical, as I recently received health insurance for the first time in 10 years (God bless America). Mossburg discussed my health in an intelligent and friendly manner with laptop in hand, taking detailed notes. At first, I was caught off guard by her incessant typing while maintaining steady eye contact and asking thoughtful questions. I appreciated it afterwards, though, as she leaves you with a thorough report of your condition along with the steps taken and those recommended. If you get any lab work done, she also leaves a detailed recorded message on a coded phone system thing that you call in to hear your results. Very cool and convenient. The office isn't new or fancy but tries with the faux wood flooring and Pier 1 wall art. Forget the office--good doctors are hard to find, and Mossburg's a good one.

Not once did I ever take a family member to her and she not ask how we were doing and about our personal lives she would remember and bring things up we discussed about them to. Unfortunately, she took personal leave a couple of years ago and I never got my chance to be cared by her and I have medical concerns...it's hard finding a physician you trust and you like. I don't think we will find anyone better than her (she reminded me of my childhood doctor we had for many years) but I'm sure we will find someone up to par.

They did not make me fill out 10 pages of forms online before I came in. Then Dr Connor has someone take notes while she listens intently and looks you in the eye so that she can have a conversation and pay attention. She really knows her stuff and is not averse to questioning minds such as mine or alternative treatments and supplements. She made a recommendation for a lab test that my cardiologist should order for my high cholesterol. I already felt better walking out of her office after over an hour of actually being heard for the first time. She is worth every penny and I will be seeing her exclusively from now on. I needed them to call in an RSV vaccine prescription to HEB pharmacy - I called at 8 am and when I went to the pharmacy at 140 pm they still hadn't done it. I called Happy Health and they did it in 10 minutes. I am going to be transferring my primary care to Happy Health. As everyone there from the receptionist to the doctors treat their patients like important customers. I'd give them a zero if there was a star that low.

Dr. Romanik was the first doctor here then his daughter Dr. Wheeler took over the practice over the years. I have come here. He is thorough and seems to genuinely care. The office in New Braunfels is great. Staff is friendly and the out of pocket bills I had so far were reasonable. The staff was very friendly and seemed to make everyone feel welcome. The doctor was equally friendly and took the time to talk with me and come up with a solution to my problem. He didn't throw a bunch of unnecessary medications at me, giving me just the one prescription he felt I needed. This was a welcome change from doctors I've been to years ago who'd prescribe all sorts of stuff that I didn't need. Anyhow, good staff and a good doctor, well worth the drive from NE San Antonio. The only thing that would probably lead me to give it a 4.5 was the fact that he was about 30min late for the visit. But considering they got me a same day appointment, I don't suppose I can complain much.
