PERFECT.
That's the best word for the fascinator I got from Jamie. 5 reasons:
1. Jamie is kind, professional, helpful, and honest. I had the vaguest idea of what I wanted in a bridal hair accessory and veil: had to match an ivory dress, had to have a birdcage veil. The seamstress altering my dress, Olga, referred me to Jamie, and after we made contact, Jamie requested photos of my dress, shoes, jewelry, and any of my inspirations. When I arrived, she had hand selected some of her beautiful pieces that best matched the style of my ensemble, which I appreciated because I was so stressed and having to make so many decisions for the wedding. She let me try on all the pieces I liked, and offered to design one if I couldn't find one she'd already made. I found a unique and beautiful ivory bow with rosettes and she added a detachable birdcage veil to complete the look. She made the experience FUN! I loved every minute. I didn't feel pressured to purchase and she encouraged me to take my time.
2. The fascinator was a quality piece. This is something I could hand down or enjoy seeing another bride close to me wear. It photographed VERY well, stayed put for the entire bridal photo shoot, wedding, and reception, and received compliment after compliment.
3. The artistry and craft of Jamie's pieces is phenomenal. Her collection is diverse, and each piece is a unique creation. You won't see these elsewhere; I certainly haven't seen one that looks like mine!
4. REASONABLY PRICED. I feel like brides get taken advantage of with pricing, as we are willing to pay more for the "perfect" dress, shoes, accessories, etc. I paid 1/3 of what I was about ready to dish out for a couple of fascinators I saw on Etsy and BHLDN, neither of which were nearly as unique or beautiful as the one I purchased from Jamie.
5. YOU, yes YOU, BRIDE, READING THIS: by purchasing from Jamie, you are supporting a local Austin artist. How great is that?!?!
