I started using them 4 plus years ago and have not had a problem. Have had 2 techs in 5 years and they got rid of our bug issues which grew as we initially moved in without getting an extermination service. Techs are very nice and even treat the sewer hole in the middle of the street which took care of any rats coming up the sewer (yup it can happen). I purchased the termite and pest service over a month ago after I had termites and flying ants swarming inside my window. The technician told me that after 2 weeks I wouldn't see anymore. Well today they were swarming again. I tried calling the office numerous times but the phone would just hang up. I finally drove up to the off on Outland and showed them the picture. I immediately explained how I had this issue when I first go the service and what the technician told me. The lady in the office looked shocked at the photo. She explained that the phones were off. She said she would get Mr. James. She took my phone with her and showed him. Mr. James clearly didn't listen to my issue as I repeatedly had to say the same things. Mr. James said that termites only swarm once and if they were to swarm again it would be unlikely and extremely rare. I said well you see the picture so clearly they have swarmed twice. He went on to say he wished I had called and it was extremely unlikely that his technician would tell me that I wouldn't see termites again and he found it hard to believe and he was trying to be nice to me. I explained how he had contradicted himself and reminded him again that I had called several times and as he was aware their phones were off and as a new customer I was extremely displeased with his responses especially when he said he was trying to be nice to me and he repeatedly said IF they swarmed as he was calling me a liar. He asked "What do you want me to do about this" and I replied send someone back out and he immediately said "I'm not doing that." The office lady was nice and so were the termite and pest technicians. Mr James was extremely rude, unprofessional and possibly racist. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Been using them over over a year. They do a good job but their billing department is an absolute trainwreck. They bill quarterly automatically and autodraft your credit card (which is convenient) but if you have termite or rodent or annual added stuff they can't add that to the automatic billing and request phone payment every 3 months. read more

This place is a scam. A salesman came out for a free estimate and I turned down the service. He scheduled it anyway and had someone call 5 days later stating they would coming to service me that day. I am a real estate broker who has to arrange inspections for termite damage and other issues. It is important to me to use the best service providers in the market. Often these inspections turn into long running contracts for preventing termite damage. I need to know my clients will be well served and happy. I have used JPM for over forty clients and so far they have a perfect record. Also, the company runs like a business. They have enough employees who are trained in a specific area to keep up with business and they know what they are doing. I have no personal connection with JPM and I have never met the owners but I am writing this because two of the reviews are, in my opinion, very inaccurate and I don't like to see a good company dissed. Horrible rude person working the office. They were completely unprofessional and I would never use them or recommend them to anyone.

Not long after moving into the area, I contact James Pest for regular pest control treatment. The technicians went through the house and outside of the house thoroughly. Overtime I did have an ant problem that occurred, I called into the office and a technician was at my house within a couple of days and the problem was remedied immediately. Living on a larger lot with lots of trees and a swimming pool, wasps, yellow jackets and hornets became a horrible problem for us during the spring and summer months. The technicians at James Pest were thorough, checking the entire property over to find the sources of the nests. They treated each area and came back out and treated again about 6 weeks later. Whenever my technician came out for quarterly services, he always checked the problem areas and let me know his findings. I have since moved, and have not had the same fortune in finding a Pest Control Company that offers the same complete services. I would highly recommend James Pest, they are thorough and their technicians are extremely customer friendly. read more

Horrible experience just now with a rude person working in the office. I asked to move an appointment up by an hour and she told me she could not. I asked did she even check and she rudely responded " no ma'am, it's a fact that the tech is booked up one week out." Her rude, horrible customer service is the epitome of how I DO NOT run my business or allow my stakeholders to operate. I will never use this company after this week's inspections. read more

I allowed James Pest to inspect my home for possible service. I told the sales representative that I would consider the service. He urged me to go ahead and sign the contract and schedule, as appointments fill quickly and assured me I had 72 hours to cancel. I cancelled the very next day but someone still came to my house the following day and I called again to confirm that I had cancelled the service appointment and contract. The lady was obviously displeased that I was cancelling and kept attempting to reschedule which I refused. So, I cancelled twice within a 48 hour period! Yet, I noticed continued calls to the point I had to block the number. Then threatening letters arrived stating the account would be sent to collections. I also told the collection agency I would not be paying the cancelled contract and never initiated service. I have filed a BBB complaint and awaiting resolution. My credit history is pristine and this company is so desperate for business that they will not accept NO for an answer and are threatening to tarnish my credit report saying that I somehow didn't qualify for the 72 hour cancellation that the representative offered me. Stay far FAR away from this ruthless and unethical company! They are not accredited by the BBB and I have read many similar reviews. Wish I'd checked them out further before ever allowing them to come to my home. read more

In 2014 they missed my annual treatment. When I called, I was told by a very rude person named Barb, they have up to 12 months after the due date to perform treatments. Going up to 2 years without a treatment is NOT an agreed annual treatment. I threatened to quit my agreement. They responded and sent someone to my home for a treatment. That was the last I heard from them. The following year no treatment, the following year no treatment. When I called they said I threatened to quit, they sent me a bill (which I did not receive), so they terminated our agreement. UNDEPENDABLE, DISHONEST, INCOMPETENT. DO NOT USE! read more
