They are incredibly kind and have a great sense of humor, which makes the classroom such a positive and welcoming place for the children. Together, they create an environment where every child feels seen and heard, and they build strong, meaningful connections with their students. Ms.Giri brings a nurturing and gentle approach, truly understanding that the children are still young kindergarteners. She pampers them with warmth and care, making them feel safe, comforted, and supported every day. Ms.Vohra, on the other hand, beautifully complements this by encouraging the children to become more responsible and independent. She ensures they learn to follow rules and classroom routines, helping them grow with confidence and structure. They are both attentive to the children's needs and address concerns promptly. We also have experienced their genuine care firsthand. On two occasions when my daughter misplaced her sweater, Ms.Giri went above and beyond to help--she even replaced it with a new one so my daughter wouldn't worry. Whenever my daughter has taken a sick day, she has always made it a point to personally call and check on her health, which means so much to us. They also ensured we receive the essential homework sheets on time so my daughter could keep up. These gestures truly touch our hearts and reflect the deep care and dedication they have for her students.

She has created such a warm, nurturing, and safe environment where my kid feel seen, bonded with, and encouraged. She has a natural ability to connect with children and parents individually, and it shows in how happy and supported our child feels. What stands out most is how genuinely caring and patient she is. We are so grateful for the love, dedication, and positivity she brings. Any child would be lucky to be in her class! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her to move to being a 1st grade teacher!

Our…read morejourney began when my son joined Ms. Angeline's class at 3.5 years old, after a disappointing experience at a chain private school. From the moment he started at MSF, we saw a remarkable difference. He was genuinely happy each day and looked forward to his "working time" at school. Ms. Angeline has a deep respect for each child as an individual. She nurtured our son's growth both academically and personally, helping him gain confidence in expressing his needs and tailoring projects to match his interests and developmental needs. The environment she created in the Evergreen B class was warm, engaging, and thoughtfully structured. Because of the incredible experience our son had, we decided to enroll our daughter at MSF as well. She joined Ms. June's class and also had a wonderful time. Coming from a full Chinese-speaking environment, the transition to an English-speaking classroom could have been challenging--but Ms. June, being bilingual, provided the perfect support. Our daughter was very shy at first, but Ms. June thoughtfully paired her with older, bilingual classmates and helped her adjust with care and patience. In less than half a year, school became her favorite place to be. We especially appreciated the school's community spirit and special events, such as International Week and Sharing Night, which brought families together and created lasting memories.

My son attended Montessori School of Fremont for two years before kindergarten, and based on our…read moreexperience, I would not recommend it to other families. My main concern was with his teacher. Over two years, I didn't see meaningful effort to teach or support my son. Instead, the feedback I received was that "your child is not suited for Montessori" -- which felt less like a thoughtful assessment and more like a way to avoid working with him. A Montessori environment is supposed to meet a child where they are; that wasn't our experience. I also found the administrative side of the school to be inflexible in a way that didn't feel parent-friendly. On one occasion in two years, I was ~1 minute late at pickup due to traffic and was charged a late fee. A one-time delay being treated the same as a chronic issue tells you something about the culture. Other parents may have had a different experience, and I'm sure some children thrive here. Ours did not, and I wanted to share an honest account for parents who are weighing this school.

Teachers like Mrs turner and Mrs Sendenos (she remarried ) were such amazing people . Even though my kids left there a few years back I see the value in elementary schools. When mh daughter went to middle school in hayward she was actually more advanced then the kids here in Hayward . The pride that Glennmore puts on education is tremendous! This is a school I high recommend to parents! One thing I really enjoyed was all the parent involved activities , including sports they had for the kids . Also our basketball ball team kicked but ! Champions our year ! Haha the science camp trip for the kids was amazing and left an awesome impression on my two kids ! Now my cons. There's not much . Just the moms who don't got anything else to do and just be either Karen's or nosey and always have a damn opinion everything ! You tell them the sky is blue they damn for sure will argue with you and say it's lavender . And some of the dads there , can we say cucks! Grow a pair boys please ! I experienced this while at science camp with my kids ! My rating! The best . Minus the lame parents at times , most of the parents are cool AF !

I'm now in my 30s, but I attended Fremont Christian School from 5th through 12th grade. The best…read moreway I can describe my experience there is that it felt like a living nightmare. Everyday it felt like I was drowning. Looking back, that period of my life was when I first started developing severe anxiety and depression. I was naturally a shy kid but the environment at the school made things significantly worse. I experienced ongoing bullying throughout my time there...not only from classmates but also from teachers and even the school principal (Tricia Meyer) It created an atmosphere where I constantly felt unsafe, unsupported, and isolated. The only reason I remained at the school for so long was because my parents were hesitant to transfer me. By the time they fully understood how serious the situation was, I only had two years left of high school, so I stayed until graduation. Even now, I could write pages about the experiences and the people who contributed to the bullying I endured during those years. From an academic and developmental standpoint, I also do not feel the school prepared me well for life after graduation. When I entered college, I realized how unprepared I was socially and academically compared to peers from other schools. The environment at FCS felt extremely conservative and insulated, almost like living in a bubble. It wasn't until I graduated and left that environment that I felt like I could finally start living my life and growing as a person. One additional observation: the business manager who responds to reviews on Yelp, was actually a student in my class. Given the culture and bullying that existed during our time at the school, it feels somewhat hypocritical to see someone from that same environment representing the school without acknowledging the issues that many of us experienced. Everyone's experience will be different, but based on my time there, I personally would not recommend this school.

My son had a fantastic experience (although it was virtual) in Kindergarten (shoutout to Ms. Poole,…read moreshe's fantastic). Unfortunately, we had to pull our son out of first grade at VM due to bullying. The bullying went on for 3 days and The final straw was when I picked him up and he had a welt on his forehead that went ignored all day and without ice until I got him home. He had that bump on his head for over a week. I was livid. Apparently, a third grader had been bullying my son and some other 1st graders during recess. There are only 2 teachers watching the kids during recess and when I asked my son where the teachers were, he said they were talking near the swings. Shouldn't they be walking and monitoring? I believe there are 1-3 grade classes out during recess at the same time, which is a lot of kids for 2 teachers. The final straw was when the principal called me and had the audacity to give excuses for the bully (I.e. the kids have been doing virtual learning so they have a ton of energy and she said maybe this "other student" could be running and not looking and bumped into my kid). Like, are you serious right now?!? I couldn't believe she was siding with the bully? My son tells me different and I am going to believe him. He is a sharp kid and his memory is impressive, Plus he had no reason to lie as he was excited for 1st grade. The teacher was nice but she is not equipped for that class ratio. I never allowed my son back to that school since that incident and immediately enrolled him into a private school where he has thrived academically, socially, and have gained amazing friendships. The faculty at his new school actually really cares about their kids and lives by the zero tolerance policy when it comes to bullying. It takes me 2 mins to drive to VM vs 30 mins to his new school and I would say, the sacrifice of driving 30 mins to his new school is 1000% worth it. As a reference, this incident happened during the Sept 2021 fall school year.
