Teachers like Mrs turner and Mrs Sendenos (she remarried ) were such amazing people . Even though my kids left there a few years back I see the value in elementary schools. When mh daughter went to middle school in hayward she was actually more advanced then the kids here in Hayward . The pride that Glennmore puts on education is tremendous! This is a school I high recommend to parents! One thing I really enjoyed was all the parent involved activities , including sports they had for the kids . Also our basketball ball team kicked but ! Champions our year ! Haha the science camp trip for the kids was amazing and left an awesome impression on my two kids ! Now my cons. There's not much . Just the moms who don't got anything else to do and just be either Karen's or nosey and always have a damn opinion everything ! You tell them the sky is blue they damn for sure will argue with you and say it's lavender . And some of the dads there , can we say cucks! Grow a pair boys please ! I experienced this while at science camp with my kids ! My rating! The best . Minus the lame parents at times , most of the parents are cool AF !

I thought maybe she might be having a bad day, or maybe I caught her at a bad moment. Nope, that wasn't the case at all. I have at least half a dozen moments, where I tried to say hello or ask how my son is doing, each time its the same snarl on her face. Never, ever have I seen this lady smile and the school year is almost over. I must say this, every parent thinks there kid is an angel. Some of us refuse to see the real truth. I will be the first to say that my child is not a angel, nor is he a trouble maker. I will never say that my child or my kids are perfect, because I know deep in my heart that they are kids, and kids act up, so I know they are not perfect, but I do believe my kids are good kids. So when I see kids act up in his class, I know my kid is not the trouble maker. So when I got a letter sent home, saying that they are having a problem with him, I couldn't believe it. I even spoke with some of the volunteer parents that help out, they have even stated that my son is no where near what his teacher has made him out to be. I'm going to go with this lady has a problem, and I'm not sure what it is? I just hope that my son is not her problem. I would hate to have that be the truth, and again, I hope its not. I have another daughter who will be joining this school in the next year or so, I'm going to have to make sure that her teacher is not this lady. I don't think I can deal with this one again.

There was this boy in my class that was the most racist guy ever, he wrote letters to my friend threatening her and all, he made them cry and go to the office even when she did nothing wrong. A few of the boys in my class were very rude to me and my friends, the teacher didn't even tell them about it, she didn't do anything to prevent them from teasing us. NOT COOL. And for Farrah Deisy M. before me, I think I know who your son is, and I don't think you know what your son is doing in school Ma'am.

I had a father come in at my son and yelled at him in front of the entire school The wife was standing there the little girl was being embarrassed by the stepfather... Seems to be very male dominated and not a good environment for children. my daughters friends go here and they feel as if this private school is off putting and some teachers have no experience in teaching. play ground is really small, no room for kids to play and cafeteria even smaller. Great experience with smaller staff but head of school needs to change. very rude. they take all your money for no good outcome in your childs learning. cheap, rude and expensive they really get the parents with an experience they can't uphold. put your kids in a better school with better teachers, staff and curriculum and to the head of school 'wagner' do better.

First of all, this year, we had a temporary campus for a new campus that was still in construction. The quality was terrible. We could hear the construction from inside and when we were outside we were exposed to the dust that came from the construction it was a nightmare we also had to eat our lunch outside in the sun although they had picnic tables in PE was outside in the grass they gave many people many allergic reactions. And the grass had potholes. Many, many potholes. They have divided the MPR into five classrooms and it was really noisy. It was hard for any students there to focus at all. We were all desperately waiting for the new campus. Oh, and if you think that's bad enough, that was only this year. Last year, three teachers left the school midway two of them fired. And when they had to fire the first teacher they blamed it on the students at the school, even though they specified that they did not want the teacher fired, but they just wanted her to change her teaching habits in a way that would suit all of the students at the school. I mean, are the students not allowed to voice their concerns about the school and make it a better environment for the new students? And they're paying money to go to the school. Which brings me to my next point, the tuition. The year that the school opened, the tuition was twenty four thousand dollars. The tuition kept on increasing over the years, from twenty four thousand dollars to twenty five thousand dollars to twenty six thousand dollars and now twenty seven thousand dollars. The tuition has just been skyrocketing since the school opened. But there are upsides. And when I say upsides, I mean a lot of upsides. First of all, there are only 150 kids at the upper school. That gives teachers a lot more time to communicate with the students at the school and help them with any concepts that they do not understand. Teachers also have office hours after school to help students with any questions they may have. The teachers want the students to learn, and that's what makes this environment important. Everyone works together like one big happy family. The friendships that students make here are everlasting. If you make a friend one year, that friend will never leave your side and will always have your back. The students have such great memories of their past years, and they reminisce one their past experiences at the school. Overall, I would recommend the school for people who are committed to academics and don't care much about extracurricular activities. As BASIS grows there are more and more extracurricular activities that are emerging such as cross country basketball, volleyball, soccer, and flag football, as well as clubs that are offered by the school. Thanks for reading! Edit: After four amazing years, I have decided to transfer to another high school.

The teacher couldn't control the class and homework was taken from a Pinterest idea. For the money paid it was a waste. Preschool, my child had a traumatic experience and would refuse to go after a month. My child was so excited to start school and go and that all changed. My child started feeling petrified of the school director. What was once before a loving community gradually turned into an environment where the kids felt isolated and insecure. For a place that is teaching about the love, nonjudgmental acceptance and mercy of the Lord didn't set an exemplary environment.
