They directed me to complete the intake paperwork online ahead of time, which made everything quick and smooth when I arrived. Once I got to the office, I was really impressed that they brought me in right on time with no delay. That alone is rare these days. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and very professional. The assistant did a great job taking all of my X-rays, and the dentist herself was excellent. She carefully checked all of my teeth, explained a couple of issues clearly, and took the time to talk everything through with me. What I appreciated most was that there was absolutely no pressure or upselling. She focused only on the issues that actually needed attention. Overall, it was an incredibly pleasant dental visit, which isn't something people usually say about going to the dentist. I can definitely see why they have such a strong five-star rating. As far as I'm concerned, she's the best dentist in Big Bear. I highly recommend Summit Dental.

A town where we have few choices in our medical care without driving 1-2 hours down our mountain. I called for a very painful, infected tooth. I needed an extraction and was told by Dr Poole that there was not an oral surgeon near us and she referred me to a dentist down the mountain that required I come in for a consult and then another appt a week later for the extraction. My problem is why would she not have had my best interest in mind and referred me to a local dentist? Going up and down in elevation could have been extremely painful. This rating is a result, in what is my opinion, of not having the patients best interest in mind. Our local oral surgeon, Dr Bickler, was awesome....
