I used James Hauling Service for a clean out the garage post holidays clean up and yes they didn't a great job. They were on time ,easy to schedule with and hauled away all the junk and gave my garage room to move. Considerably less than 1800GOTJUNK I defiantly would use James again! read more

When we remodeled our San Jose home to sell in 2018, a ton of debris was generated. After checking out the expensive corporate haulers, we went with a top rated independent, James Hauling. Glad we did, I've now called them about 10 times, and I've never been disappointed. James and Abe respond quickly, show up when they say they will, and work hard and fast, all at a reasonable price. (Call GotJunk if you want to see unreasonable...) When the house sold and we moved to Morgan Hill, that generated the next batch of work for James, and he always came through. Among other things, they are experts at dealing with the legal disposal of hazardous waste, paint and such, and I had accumulated quite a lot over the years. This company performs a wide variety of other services, and have a diverse fleet of vehicles to handle every situation I've requested. Glad I found these guys. Hmm, now that I look at the stuff piled up in the garage of our new home, I think it's time to call them yet again. read more

James and his team are as reliable as they come. Shows up on time, does what he says he is going to do and charges at a reasonable and fair price. He is also an excellent communicator and gets right back to you by text. You can pay him using a credit or debit card which is convenient. My fiance and I just got done clearing out his Mother's house in Gilroy. 1200 square feet of STUFF. She was a hoarder. James and his assistant came out to house on three separate occasions to haul stuff away. Project took us close to eight weeks! James is dependable and trustworthy. I recommend him if you need hauling services. read more

Such a pleasure to work with! I called just before closing to ask about having an old sectional removed, plus a few other odds and ends. James was able to squeeze a pick up in for us first thing in the morning. Arrived on time, super friendly, and had everything out quickly. Having mentioned an errand I planned to run, James even took the time to text after they had left, to let me know the traffic back up (that had most of Morgan Hill at a standstill) was clear to where I needed to go. I thought that was very kind of him. Those little things are why I love working with local businesses. read more

I contacted James to set up a hauling job & he responded within 5 minutes. He drove to Gilroy, loaded my 2 very large items and my garage was ready for my organizing project! James is very friendly & personable, making it a pleasure to do business with him. The Yelp reviews were 100% on the money in all respects. I'm happy to know about him for my future hauling needs and highly recommend him if you live in South Valley! read more

I used Yelp to find a hauling service and James Hauling really pulled through. My family has used James hauling on three occasions. The most recent being this Saturday to haul away three years of miscellaneous junk ! Not only was the quote reasonable but his work was Very honest and professional. There are not many people I trust on my property but rest assured you can count on James Hauling . Used James Hauling to move a 32 foot travel trailer and he did an amazing job. What made it so amazing was the single lane dirt narrow road - mountain on one side and drop off hill side on the other. Then he backed it into a spot that was just as narrow and the place he moved it from. Rates were a bit steep but the job wasn't easy so who could argue. James is also a very pleasant man who enjoys what he does. I am sure we will use his service in the future! read more

I highly recommend James for RV trailer and 5th wheel towing. He makes it look so easy. He came to the job early, was pleasant to work with, did an excellent job, and charged a fair price. UPDATE 2017 James way over charged me for a 2nd job. So I reduced 5 stars to three. read more

James quoted 14 yards for 650.00 ,showed up and asked for 800.00 for 8 yards and under. Hired another guy for 500.00 and gave him a 50.00 tip for doing such a nice job. read more

Was supposed to show up at 8 AM showed up at 7:30 AM on the Saturday and wanted $300 to remove tree small items not exactly my favorite

I recently hired James to tow a 23' travel trailer from San Jose to San Mateo - His services are 5 STAR! I called James and we discussed what/where/when I need a travel trailer towed and agreed on a price. The following day he showed up on time, prepared with the correct towing attachments and off we went. He followed all towing laws and never exceeded the 55 mph speed limit, he was very careful with my trailer. Upon arrival at the final location he backed the trailer into a tight spot without any problem (this man knows how to back up a trailer!) We settled up and off he went. If you are considering James for a towing/hauling job I highly recommend him. He is a friendly guy that is easy to work with. read more

What can I say but, I was impressed with fair pricing and reliable service. James showed up earlier and stuck to his phone pic quote, I added a few things to haul but compensated him for it. As busy as all businesses are these days, it's really hard to find good, fair and reliable services . This is one I highly recommend! I paid him his fees after they loaded up very quickly, and even gave them extra for Lunch!! Great service and will use them for a few other projects down the road. read more
