Since then I have been working with a couple of top-tier Periodontists that are significantly more expensive to try and repair the damage, and the experience has been a lot better. Unfortunately, the repairs so far have cost nearly $18k, and I have another repair surgery scheduled for next month which will cost another $8k. Bottom line - based on other reviews, I thought I was going to be in good hands, but please do your due diligence. It has been a long and awful journey. I hope others don't have the same experience.

Implant is a surgery and many thing can go wrong if not properly planned, so he always takes necessary precautions. Last time I had appointment for a new implant, we found out that my bone graft done by different doctor was very poor quality and had deteriorated. He replaced it with new, better one for no charge. This is usually a very costly procedure. He is type a doctor that does whatever is necessary for the best result and doesn't rush the patients. Got the one filling and paid my $50 co-pay. That filling is shaped weird, like a hump on top of my tooth. Came back for the next appointment which I was told repeatedly would include both the second filling and cleaning. Shouldn't have been surprised that after one filling she said it was all she had time for and I had to come back again for the cleaning. That was the second $50 co-pay. This second filling is all sharp edges. Came back a third time for the most brutal cleaning (I don't know what that lady's problem is but there was no reason to take it out on my mouth) and was smugly charged a third $50 co-pay. I spent several hours over multiple days and paid $150 in co-pays for mediocre care at best. Save yourself; don't trust Dr. Marina Dukler.
