I stopped in, told them what was going on and they had me fill out some paperwork as a new patient. There are about 3 dentists in this location located in Durango, Co. My dentist, was Dr. Todd Crandall. Very polite. Informative and answered any question I had and listened to my needs. They did an X-ray of the problem area, discovered I had an infection in the upper left side of my mouth that had no way of saving it because I had too much bone loss. The following weekend, Saturday, March 7th I came in to have the tooth extracted. Mind you, I am petrified of dentists. The assistant took me back, made me comfortable in the chair. Got me prepped for Dr. Crandall to come in. He numbed me and said he'd be back in about 7-8 minutes. While he was gone, his assistant brought me a nice cup of hot coffee! YES, COFFEE! ......try drinking that with a numb face and mouth! Haha! Dr. Crandall came back in, started the procedure and the whole thing was over as quickly as it started! My appointment was at 10 am......I was literally in the chair, spent a few minutes with the receptionist to pay my bill and back on the road by 10:25 a.m. The level of care I received far exceeded my expectations going in. They took someone who was petrified going in and turned into a grateful heart going out. If you don't have dental insurance they have a gold plan and they will work with you on payments too! That's a huge plus! You can also ask for a quote on any of their services and they will break it down for you and you can make payments on that as well! COMFORT DENTAL in Durango, Co ROCKS! For now, I want to be informative about his skills as an aesthetician. He's the best one I've ever used, and Ive had many. I have the worst bags underneath my eyes. He gets rid of mine every time. He makes them completely smooth and gives me that smooth, less tired, younger look. I'm 43 and it's my favorite procedure. Apparently, it's not an easy procedure to do. I couldn't find another aesthetic clinic in town that would even attempt it. I guess he's more comfortable doing the complicated stuff from going to med school. Most aestheticians don't have as much training about all the muscles in your face and neck. I also had some loose skin on my neck and a good amount of fat under my chin. I was told by other aestheticians in town that's there's nothing you can do about your neck and under the chin. Fortunately, Dr. Minor knew how to. He knows how to get rid of that dreaded "Turkey waddle" underneath your chin simply by using Botox. He can also dissolve the fat under your chin to bring back that sculpted look. Permanently! If you're nervous about getting filler in your cheeks, lips, jawline... there's nothing to fear on that. Most areas can be numbed. The results are instant , and it can be dissolved if you don't like it. I recommend setting up a consultation with him. He's got great bedside manner and is not a pushy salesman. There's so much you can do now with a few shots instead going under the knife for a face lift.

Dr. Mann and his dental assistants always make me feel comfortable, took an X-ray and photo of the area and explained to me what my tooth (teeth) looked like and what treatment is needed. They were very gentle in checking (what I thought was a filling needing repaired?) but they were also very gentle in letting me know it was more than just a filling needed, but a crown and cavity! and explained to me what treatment is recommended. The front office was so thorough in letting me know what the cost of upcoming dental work would be and she was so nice to explain this to me. I appreciate all of you!!

While on my visit, I began experiencing severe pain in an area of my molar. The very next day it got so bad, my face eyes and cheeks had swelled and I could no longer manage it. I phoned my Lakewood, CO Dentist, whom has taken care of our family for over 30 plus years. She said "don't drive home, I know a colleague of mine from Dental School who now practices in Durango and Bayfield, CO." I immediately called this office at 801 Florida and was quickly taken care of. The receptionist ( all of them ) were compassionate and got me in the very next day. Dr. Courtney Heinicke and his Assistant Kiffanie were outstanding. They listened and had great touch in caring for my emergency. After a quick X-Ray it was clearly visible that the tooth had two cracks in it and could not be saved. I was emotionally tearful because I didn't want to loose it. They carefully explained the process to me and answered all my questions. Dr. Heinicke numbed me up quickly and proficiently. I became much more comforted by their care. The tooth came out quickly and my body was finally eased. They assured me that they were also available 24/7 if I had any post issues..... A on call Doctor was just a phone call away.
