James Bond is literally the best. This will be a bit of a long review, but please read it to learn why. About 3 years ago I left a corporate chef job to come be a nanny to my beautiful nephew. I first stared having problems when I had two fillings that fell out on both sides of my mouth. They fell out, but there wasn't any immediate pain. Obviously I was being employed by my sister, so I didn't have insurance at the time. Over the next 2 years there wasn't any pain, but I knew I had to get this taken care of. I went first to Summit Dental because they had a decent review.
After the brief appointment they surrounded me with the dentist and I think 2 dental technicians. They mouth shamed me. It felt like some sort of intervention, telling me they would have to first charge me $1200 to clean all 4 sections of my teeth. Summit Dental (I felt like) rubbed my nose in the fact that I wasn't insured, even though I never brought up the cost.
Then COVID hit and we were all being a bit more careful about leaving our houses. Eventually one of my molars that had lost a filling was painful. My sister recommended James Bond.
Side note: my sister literally had half of her two front teeth knocked out by my 2 year old nephew on THANKSGIVING DAY with some stupid plastic toy that I had bought for him, and he saw her the very next day. I was shocked a dentist would 1 be so kind and 2 would be available during a holiday James took the time to match the exact color of her teeth. To this day you can't tell at all the they had any work at all.
So I folded and went into his office when I started feeling pain in one of my molars (the filling had popped out a few years ago at this point, and the remaining was exposed to elements.) I told him of the past horrible experience I had. I felt James was WAY more understanding. He explained every step of the way, gave me different options, and what that would look like financially.
Stopped in the middle of procedures and gave me more numbing agent and actually let it take effect before going back in to save my molar.
And he was done ( I had this done today) he actually called me tonight to see if I was in pain.
That is sooo beyond what I expected, I had to write this review.
This guy is awesome and he's really dedicated to doing what he does with compassion and empathy. If your a little wimpy when it comes to going to the dentist, come here. If you're not, come anyway. After literally always having to get a filling every time I go, he has been the most compassionate dentist I have ever been to. He checked on how I was doing with every wince.
Again, I don't think I can speak more highly of James. He seems like a wonderful bubbly person with a great personality. read more
