There are two or three galleries in the museum depending on how they set it up, so you can see it in 30 minutes or so but I spent a little over an hour my last time here because the two different exhibits were fascinating. There isn't an entry fee but they accept donations. A couple of student workers are at the entrance, friendly and interesting though I didn't engage for long since they were doing homework (I think). Parking isn't hard but you may need to walk about a block.

Queen Anne architecture, they said, I can't give specifics on this. But downstairs in the basement is more of the museum with interactive exhibits. There's even a cycle you can pedal to power up the room, it even makes a Thomas Edison figurine start to dance. It's kinda bizarre, but it is fun. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of parking in the private lot. Oh and don't forget to remove your booties before you leave!

All of that for $20 per month. The thing I was most excited about is that right now you have to pre-register for a two-hour time slot. That way it doesn't get overly crowded in there. There are levels and levels of things to do, and so many things that teach great science lessons!! They have a very large arts and crafts area as well, with a toddler station right next door. We really enjoyed that they also had a quiet room. We have a six-month-old and needed to take a lunch break. It had a glider, all sorts of seating that is comfy for kiddos of all ages, as well as some quiet time activities. I highly recommend parking in the red parking ramp across from the entrance. Parking is free on Sundays.

I can see why. Patrick, the co-owner of the gallery, is a patient and knowledgeable teacher, and an artist in his own right. He and his wife, Karen, make many of the art works you see in the gallery. Patrick was the one leading the clay class, and he went over basics, then set us loose to explore the clay and use the various tools all around his studio to create our own pieces of art. If you're not able to snag a seat at one of Two Fish's classes, you can visit to browse the amazing gallery. They have hundreds of pieces for sale in the small and cozy gallery, ranging from ceramics to fabric art. This is a great place to find a gift for yourself or a loved one.
