I just had the most incredible lunch ever! I bet I've driven by this place a 1000 times and always thought about stopping but today I finally did. The food was so amazing that I'm actually mad at myself for missing out on this hidden gem that has been here for over five years. I had the Jamaican jerk chicken with rice and peas that came with sides of macaroni and coleslaw that was absolutely out of this world! I also picked up an order of fried plantains, which if you have never tried them, one bite is all it takes and you'll be hooked forever. If you're looking for a unique and delicious dining experience, I can't recommend these folks highly enough. On top of having outstanding culinary delights, the folks working there were some of the friendliest people I think I've ever met! Stop in and check them out. You'll be very glad you did!

At the downtown location - We started with the plantains; they were sweet and delicious with a perfectly caramelized crisp edge. The chicken curry was flavorful and filling with a hearty portion. Great taste and not spicy. Lastly the service and ambiance was exceptional. Latoya was super friendly and helpful and the space was welcoming and included some great tunes. It felt like visiting an old friend for a great meal! Thanks so much, see y'all next time!!

Jamaican Patties in Springfield? MSU kids really need to know about this secret! So they ran out of Curry Chicken Patties at 5pm - so sad b/c it's probably the one I was most excited for. I'm also sad that they don't make these patties completely in-house unlike London Calling. The Food: 1) Beef Patty has the best crust (yellow b/c of the curry) 2) Meatloaf has the best flavors 3) Vegetarian is flavored really well with vegetables and not starches 4) Much much cheaper ($3 vs. $8) than your London Calling Meat Pie Company. Although - these are really different in flavor profiles and smaller. I actually prefer the crust on the patties over the meat pies. 5) Limited room to eat in, just 2 tables plus some counter space. 6) Only other items are some snacks and drinks The next best thing to curry goat and jerk chicken is Jamacian Patties. Patties are so labor intensive, trust me - I've tried and decided against it from that day. But - the Caribbean has landed in SW - Springfield, MO.

Delicious! Great selection of patty flavors plus some other dishes you can choose from if you're not feeling a patty. The patty's though are pretty hard to resist! Flavorful flaky crust and well-seasoned fillings. Highly recommend getting it to go or sitting inside!

Trying out the Jamaican Patty Co.

Jamaican Patty Co., what can I say? Definitely a unique experience. The establishment is a small, clean environment with seating inside for about 8-12. There is a private room that sits an additional 8 and a couple of tables outdoors for when weather permits. Staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Limited drink options but doesn't really dampen the experience. The food is tasty, with the "patty" being their main focus. Several flavor profiles with each patty. Couple of the patties were a little drier than others, but i think that was due to the filling being textered different. I had the Cheesy Beef and also the Chicken Curry patty. I preferred the curry option more, even though it was a tad spicer. The filling was tasty, and the patty was flaky and enjoyable. The Missus had fried plantains as well and found them to be delicious. I didnt have any, but they did look and smell fantastic. If you're looking for a different and unique experience, then i definitely recommend giving Jamaican Patty Co. a try. If you're coming in expecting a "traditional" patty via burger, you will be disappointed, but they make up for the authentic experience that comes with a real Jamaican patty.

So glad Springfield Mo is having more diverse ethics food!! Found this hidden gem while driving to bank of America! I was born and raised in the east coast and there's a lot of Jamaican restaurant. I love Jamaican Patty! Been eating it since I was a little girl. Bring back so much memories. So I decided to try this place. Went in and got 4 beef patty! Omg it is soooo yummy and delicious!! High recommended it you want to try a delicious treats from Jamaica! They have other kinds of patty too, but my all time fav is the original beef patty. I hope they will have the more spicer one soon. Overall the taste and texture is on point!! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Beef and cheese patty tasted like it was a frozen food with non-flakey pie crust. A little spice. Won't bother again.

Tried the cheesy beef patty and the curry chicken patty. Both were tasty and had flaky crust. Will definitely be going back.

Order a 24oz. drink Cup for $~4 or 32oz. for ~$6. Overall rating 4.0+ for my experience, appreciating Tyler's entrepreneurship and variety of soda delights and cookies. Celebrating a Bday, the kids wanted to have a special treat, so Fizz's was the choice for a quick outdoor stop. Craft Sodas are a mix of base soda (Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Root Beer, Lemonade), plus mixing fun flavors, and then soft ice cream for a float. Thumbs up for the James River RB float, and also many other drinks to choose. We added a fresh cookie (Snickerdoodle or Chocolate Chip) to make a dessert combo ... 'sweet' treats to celebrate! Give Fizz's (parking lot by Ace Hardware on S. Campbell) a try and sample one of Tyler's creation if you want an inspired soda and some new flavors. Enjoy!

Think Starbucks but instead of coffee as your base, soda is the base. So you can add all kinds of toppings, cream, syrups, etc. And they serve cookies, too. Now, soda is already sweet as it is! So add on syrups and it's A LOT. If you're new to this concept, stick with a diet soda if you're adding syrup and/or toppings. If you're just adding cream to it, then regular soda would be fine. But hey, if you think you can handle the sweet, go for it! My favorite that I've tried so far is the 417, but make it diet. It's a diet Dr Pepper, cream, and vanilla. Basic, but tasty. It's like a creamy vanilla Dr Pepper. And since it's diet, it isn't overpowering sugar on sugar. I've tried the Bear Trap, and it is good, but the cherry flavor is weird. I think it's because it is a cherry syrup and not a Cherry Coke. I think if it was a Cherry Coke with cinnamon, vanilla, and cream it would be fantastic! They also have Red Bull concoctions, if that's your thing. I haven't tried any of their cookies, but maybe next time I go I will. Overall, a fun treat and unique experience. Go check it out!

Overall their food was up to par compared to home cooked meals, the only thing that was lacking was the flavor. There was definitely flavor but I would personally like a little more spices added into the mix. I also thought that their red sauce was a little over the top on spice without the flavor, on a high note their verde salsa had great flavor and the perfect amount of spice. Their agua Fresca specifically their Jamaica (hibiscus) was absolutely amazing!! Lastly the service was great and very nice!
