Honestly WORST vegan burger I have ever received. Look there are barely any vegan or vegetarian…read moreoptions on base so it was nice that there was a vegan option advertised near the gym. We have tried magnolia blues which was good except the pickled onions were sweet.. but I wanted to try something different. We spent 40€ equals to $47 US dollars on this food. The vegan patties were RAW!!!!! Like very much so raw and pink!!! I have had numerous of vegan burgers so I know what is cooked raw & thrown on the bun. We ordered around 5:30pm and they opened at 6:30pm which gave them enough time to prepare the food. My husband ordered a beef burger he said it was OK. But the vegan option is pure disgusting and I WOULD never eat from there again. If you want a vegan option order magnolia blues their burgers are fully cooked and even warm by the time you receive which is only a 10 minute walk tbecause we all know for the people who first arrive who do not have vehicles we have to walk to the chapel gate to receive our order from burgerbam. I had so much hopes from this place by the reviews but NEVER WILL I EVER!!!!!! *UPDATE I was told they would ONLY give me a giftcard of 20 euros to come back to their establishment. I have never had customer service done this way and never will I come back!! PLEASE save your money for a place who actually cares to service military families. It is just sad because all of the food we ordered was NOT eaten including my husbands food because he did not want to eat without me and my daughter who is also vegan. As I stated in my previous post I've had numerous of plant based burgers NOT only the ones as I quote "been processed in factories for months at a time" but FRESH farm to table vegan burgers but I feel that was quite of a shade response. When you are a mom who cooks all day everyday you want actual burgers (food) that taste as how do you say it "money's well spent". I have ordered magnolia ahead of time like I did your spot - then having to walk to receive the order (because we have no car) walking about 10-15 minutes to receive the food and then the same amount of time to walk back to the Ederle inn to enjoy the food and in overal the food was still in great quality and tasing. The vegano burgers had NO taste, cold, and RAW and when eating vegano burgers you would definitely want 100% cooked and satisfaction We have been trying to call your establishment to get a refund but unfortunately you all are not answering the phone, I hope I am able to get a resolution as soon as possible because then I would feel this would be very unsatisfactory and injustice. I am very sorry my tastebuds are not like the other vegan personas. & your English is impeccable never have I EVER corrected it. *ANOTHER UPDATE This company is harassing our reviews stating my initial post has disappeared stating that "we have something to hide" the LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE here is disgusting and they should not be allowed to serve to military families!!! My review is still here and my money will be refunded because your food is pure disgusting like your customer service

My hubby and I were at the Christmas market with are youngest when we spotted a booth for Bamburger. We'd heard they had good burgers and all decided we'd give them a shot. They took our reservation for 7 and we proceeded to walk around enjoying the cold, fresh air until our dinner time. The shop is tucked just around the corner and off one of the main walking streets in Vicenza. The atmosphere was a cross between a Sonic and Five Guys with reservations needed on the weekend. :) I ordered the traditional Bamburger and was not disappointed. It was great. Artisan style bun and handmade beef pattie were great. My husband tried one of their specialty burgers and thought it was alright, but upon tasting mine he said he would definitely get mine if we come again. It's always nice to find something a little different in the area!

While on our honeymoon and staying in Vicenza, my wife and I had a hard time finding anything open…read moreon a Monday, with most stores and all big tourist sites closed. Restaurants were a bit better, and with some online research we found a couple spots that were (hopefully) open, and if not they were in an area where we'd be able to find *something* open within a short walk. Al Ritrovo was our first choice, and was very close to a stop for the #1 bus, right next to the Duomo, with a nice patio and modern looking interior (it opened in 2013), although we chose the patio on a beautiful evening. They must have been rocking 90s on 9 on Sirius, because Gangster's Paradise was playing when we arrived, followed by the Spice Girls' "Stop", and then "Da Funk" by Daft Punk, which I was very much down with. The kitchen wasn't going to be open for another 20m, so we took a look at their drink list and I picked a bottle of their valpolicella riposa. Wine came out with a glass of salted peanuts to hold us over. The valpolicella was very enjoyable, with slight tannin hit on the front, but with a smooth finish, and warm down the throat thanks to the 15.5% punch of this Venetian wine. I went with the fresh pasta and duck to start, and a signature Vicentini/Venetian dish - salted cod and polenta, or baccala. The pasta and duck were fantastic; the pasta was fresh, just slightly eggy and perfectly cooked. The duck was chopped and also cooked to just the right doneness, being moist enough to not need the sauce to save it. Speaking of which, the cream sauce was used with a light hand, with just enough to evenly coat everything but not eclipsing the pasta or duck. The cod and polenta was a bit disappointing presentation-wise, and was fine on execution, but didn't have the wow factor of the duck. The salt cod was in a creamy sauce but still maintained some of its distinct dried fish texture. The polenta had a slightly different flavour compared to most I've had, but I couldn't quite place it, and it wasn't bad. Could have just been the kind of polenta or a better quality than is available back home, and I just wasn't used to it. Service was attentive and professional. Wherever you're staying in Vicenza, you definitely want to swing by Al Ritrovo for some very well done traditional dishes at this modern restaurant.

They offered a glass of wine with my meal, and it was excellent. It is the first time, I have enjoyed wine with a meal. There were many courses on the menu, but being the typical American, I was just interested in one plate, which was Spaghetti with seafood. It was delicious! I really wanted to dine outside, but all the tables were reserved. I would definitely return and try the other dishes.
