I started seeing Rebecca when I was on Stanford Campus and she was working for the Counseling service there. I was having some personal issues which I won't detail here (nosy, aren't you?) and she helped me move forward with my life. I still check in with her when I'm having troubles and I've found her therapy very useful. Rebecca uses cognitive and behavioral therapy and really stresses mindfulness and awareness. I found this approach very useful. She's really good at arming you with tools that you can use going forward, rather than simple solutions to a current issue. As an added bonus she has later evening appointments which works great for folks with jobs and schedules that are hard to rearrange.

She responded to each person in such a calming and understanding way making each person feel heard. I knew she would be a great Therapist, and ultimately in my case, a Divorce Coach (yes, there is such a thing). Nancy helped me digest what was coming at me from my now ex-husband. There was a lot to filter through and Nancy truly helped me see "the forrest for the trees" - which is something you've got to do with divorce. I felt like she was my ally at all times. She helped guide me through every step of the divorce process calming me down when I needed it and opening my eyes when I needed that too.
