The MRI show that I had fluid buildup, so my primary doctor referred me to see him . He diagnosed my sickness in a few minutes , and didn't show me the images and explain the procedure as arthroscopy. Instead of just drained the fluid. He sent me to knee arthroscopy right away. However, after one month, my knee still hurts and I barely to stand up or walk . At my follow up, he was so careless to look at my incision , or helped me to get up and get down from very high exam chair. I almost fell off the chair. He also talked very rude about my age, he said I couldn't get back to walk normally because I am old ( I was 65 in year 2025). It took long time to heal. He didn't send me to physical therapy after the surgery . Now exactly one year from his surgery. I am handicapped , my knee keeps hurting and I can't walk without a cane. I have new orthopedic at Sutter Hospital in San Jose. He gave me cortisone injection, and said the last step if my symptom isn't getting better. I need to have knee replacement. But, I just had cortisone injection a week ago. My knee is not hurting badly as before. My new doctor also ordered for me a knee brace. I hope my knee will be recovered soon My suggestion if you have knee problems, avoid to see doctor Kale Stidham if you don't want to be a crippled.

Trust Doctor Stidham, he is really a very good doctor, very good surgeon. The reason I firmly and…read moresurely that he is one of the best because I just had hand surgery 2 months ago from him, and I wait for 2 months to be sure that my hand gains all the functions and perform normally. First off, I am medical school student so I know how hard and complicate hand surgery is due to complex and sophisticate moves of your hand. So I was doubt and bit worried choosing orthopedic surgeon. And now my result is amazing! Second, I observed doctor Stidham at the surgery center before my surgery. Everyone (nurses, doctors, med. assistants) in the pre-op room knows him and greet him very friendly. He must be a good person first so that everyone will treat him that closely and friendly, second he must be a good surgeon so that those doctors gave him that respect. I read lots of reviews about the office where doctor Stidham is working at before calling to make my first appointment. There are a few reviews that really made me worried. But now, after seeing doctor Stidham and had surgery done by him, I guarantee that doctor is the person to trust. Doctor Stidham told me that I will gain about 80% of my hand function after the surgery, and I wait 2 months to check, and now I can say my hand gains way more than 80%. So happy that I made the right decision.

I came for migraines and pain that radiates down my arms and hands. He prescribed some medication for the migraines but going to wait to see what my MRI says before I take it. I don't really like medications and want to know what's going on before taking it. I came today for a study on my nerves on my arms and hands. They pretty much electricute your nerves.. I think that's what it is, it's doesn't hurt. It makes your hands and fingers jump. The guy conducting it said he had to ask the dr to see if they needed to stick needles in my arms to test the muscles. They did not have to do that! So I come back to do another study and then they will go over all of my results. Hopefully everything is okay because it's hard to deal with the pain in my arms and hands. I only took one star off because it was a long wait the first time but I understand the dr gets backed up sometimes. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait. Today there was not that much of a wait.

After submitting all requested paperwork, including identification and insurance information, I was scheduled for an appointment three months in advance. I was later contacted and informed that the doctor was no longer accepting new patients. Being placed on a long wait list and then dismissed after months of delay shows poor administrative judgment and a lack of consideration for patients' time and stress. For a neurology practice, this level of communication and handling of prospective patients is unacceptable.

I am suffering from real neurological problems. I got an appointment in end of April 2025 to see this doctor. It was 2 months to wait. I waited enduring my medical issue knowing specialists are long waits to see. 1 week before my appointment the appointment was pushed 1 month. Then the DAY before my appointment I get a call from this office saying my insurance Blue Cross Premera was not the same Blue Cross Anthem they take. Their website doesn't clarify this difference. My Premera insurance says Dr Gupta is approved and in network. This office waited to check insurance the day before. I thought based on their website and my insurance everything was good. But instead of checking 3 months ago when I make the appointment they waited the day before. I lost those 3 months suffering with my condition and I can't get back that time. Please if you consider using this office, call and verify your insurance with them do not expect them to do it asap or early as you might lose time if they decide to check the day before and say no we can't see you. You would think the basic steps in managing a medical practice before giving out appointments is verification of insurance so you do not waste patient's time. Especially if your appointment wait time is 2-3 months to be seen. I would recommend people to avoid this doctor and seek other neurologists who have proper procedures in place so they don't hurt patients like they did me and took away 3 months that I don't get back.

My condition involved surgeries, imaging, pain management, physical restrictions, braces, medications, rehabilitation, and ongoing evaluations. There were many moments filled with uncertainty, frustration, fear, exhaustion, and pain. At times, I questioned whether people truly understood what chronic pain can do to a person mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Today, I am 104 days post-surgery, and I can honestly say the progress I have made has been remarkable. There have been some very difficult days, but there have also been many great days filled with hope, healing, and gratitude. Recovery has not been easy -- it has been a process, a battle, and a journey. Looking back at where I was compared to where I am today, I truly believe this neurosurgeon helped save my life. His work not only gave me physical relief, but also restored hope that I could continue moving forward and regain part of the life I thought I was losing.

I couldn't stand long enough to cook a meal. Dr. Gussous looked at my MRI and CT scans and projected great confidence that a surgery would help me and I just decided to put myself in his hands. Best decision ever. Three months out and I can walk indefinitely with no discomfort. Just after the surgery, when I was recovering in the hospital, I was having some issues with my blood pressure dropping precipitously whenever I stood up. Dr. Gussous came personally to my bedside and spent about 40 minutes observing what was happening, having me stand and sit, having me walk a short distance in the hallway until he was satisfied that he understood what was going on. An amazing level of personal attention. Even the nurses were surprised. He also arranged for a week in acute rehab where I got a ton of support and instruction to see me through the rest of the recovery at home. I have done a lot of research about this procedure, including lurking around on Facebook groups where people share information about their experiences with this type of surgery. So I know that not everyone has as wonderful an outcome as I have had. I can only feel thankful to Dr. Gussous for performing an excellent surgery on me.
