    Service of my F Type

David my service advisor gets 10 STARS from me separate from my experience overall from dealer. This man did everything and anything possible to make sure I was happy and that my car was going to be in proper shape after an issue that came up right after buying a used F-Type. I usually never have a great experience at any dealers service department but David was a delight and is a true asset to this company. Yo don't find people like this who go above and beyond like this man did. Truly thankful for the experience you provided David.

Attached are screenshot proof of the worse car buying experience of my life. I've purchased 23 cars, currently own 7, one of them being a 23 Range Rover, and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. I don't mention that to brag, I mention that to emphasis the poor service I received is miles apart from any other dealership. On July 29, Jose(sales person) reached out to me and told me they had a 7 seater Range Rover available. Since I was looking for one, I told him I'd take it, I'll get a check from my credit union and told them I'll be there on the 31st. They told me I have to be there the same day because there's other interests on the car. I said no problem and drop everything I was doing and drove 50 minutes to the dealership. When I get there, I told them I'd be getting rid of my current Range Rover for their 7 seater. They put a value 15k lower than what other dealers offered me and I wasn't even buying a car from the other dealers, they simply wanted to buy my Range Rover. I respectfully said I'll sell mine privately, and I'll take their car, I filled out a credit app. They made me put insurance on the car before submitting credit to the bank. They only have 1 finance manager and they don't get to looking at my application until 4 hours later. After 6 hours at the dealership, they tell me they can't get an approval(even though I'm replacing my current one with a newer one just because I need more seats. I understand this because I have a few cars under my name so I told them I can have my girlfriend cosign and they said that wouldn't change anything without running her credit). I'm still being cool and patient to this point and I said ok no problem, I can't spend more time here so call me when you guys get an answer from the bank, if not, I know I can get an approval through my credit union. I even told Nathan Gaucher the GM that I was having a baby on the way so I need this car and he completed disregarded the comment, no congratulations. He's not obligated to congratulate me, I'm just bringing this up because it all makes sense with the service they provide over there now. July 31st comes and they told me they're having an issue with the mso of their 7 seater. They later told me they fixed that and I said ok, I'll reach out to my credit union and let them know. My credit union got an approval under my girlfriend all alone, not even as a co-signer, something they told me they couldn't do with even two people on the loan, again, even with me replacing the same exact car with 5 seats. At this point, my sales person Jose has quit and Nathan the GM was my point of contact. I let Nathan know we have an approval from our credit union and that we need an updated purchase order so my credit union can wire them the money or write a check. I called and texted nathan 4 days straight and no response. I also called the store multiple times and everytime I call, I explain the situation, they take my info down, promises a call back and never calls back. He finally texts back saying he is home handling an issue. I know people go through stuff so I told him ok can you have someone else help me out so I can't get this over with. It's now aug 7th, a whole week after my approval from my credit union, I decided to go back into the store with my girlfriend to get an answer in person. When I get there, they told me Nathan is not in yet, they don't know exactly what time he'll get in but I would have to wait about 2 hours just to talk to him. At this point I'm upset and I asked to speak to any manager on duty. They said Nathan is the higher up and no one else would be able to help me out. I finally sit with Chris, a sales manager, he tells me the car I had a deal with them and have had insurance on for a week and a half has been sold. There's nothing he can do to help but he looks at me straight in the eye and says he promises he'll have Nathan call me to find a solution. The receptionist also took my info down and said he'd call me. Since then, Nathan still hasn't reached out to me, I have also called and texted him and still no answer. Not only did I waste two trips to the dealer and 8 hours at the dealership, they made us pull our credit with out credit union just to sell the car to someone else and have no solution for us.

Title: Deceptive Sales Practices at White Plains Subaru Not…read morelong ago, I was shopping for a Subaru Solterra. There was a lease promotion available, and the only dealership that initially confirmed they had the offer and would honor it was Rye Subaru. They provided excellent service and were transparent throughout the process. Meanwhile, White Plains Subaru contacted me and stated that they would honor the same lease terms. The salesperson went further and promised that, if I brought a written offer, they would upgrade me to the next trim level for the same monthly price. I obtained the written offer and went to White Plains Subaru. The salesperson showed it to the manager. Instead of honoring the promise, I was offered the same vehicle for an additional $50 per month. The salesperson acknowledged that he had promised the higher trim at the same quoted price but said they would not honor it. This experience left me extremely disappointed. A dealership's word should mean something. I will not return to White Plains Subaru, and I believe consumers deserve clear, honest, and consistent communication when making significant financial decisions.

Appointments mean nothing - "sorry, we got busy," so your appointment is no good, never mind you just took time out of your work day to be here. Routine work takes months - at first I thought the parts were just delayed, then the guy let slip they'd had the part for over a month and forgot to call me. Then, they screwed up and installed the center console over top of the seatbelt receptacle (rendering the seatbelt unusable). That's a big deal for someone who drives young kids around. Are they going to do the right thing here? No. It's like a point of pride to leave the customer high and dry. Land Rover needs to take a hard look at this place and do what they can to correct a culture of incompetence. In the meantime, there are other dealers and service centers, and you should take your business there.

Horrible Experience - Dishonest and Rude at Volvo White Plains…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. My car was towed here because I always took my Volvo to the dealer, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I originally called and was told a ballpark price of about $300 for a battery. When I finally managed to tow the car in, they sent me an outrageous estimate for $11,342 - with the battery alone at $628! They also claimed the alternator was bad and added a list of typical items like tires and brakes, but nothing major. When I tried to get clarity, I called multiple times and even texted. Helene, the service advisor, never returned my calls or texts. Completely unprofessional and rude. On top of that, they charged me $280 just for giving me the estimate--nothing was repaired, nothing was fixed. When I came with the tow truck to pick up my car, I was treated poorly yet again. And here's the worst part: when AAA came to help with the tow, their technician ran proper tests on the alternator (the dealer never showed me any test results). The alternator is perfectly fine. Exactly what I suspected--it was only the battery. The AAA technician retested multiple times and confirmed it. So Volvo White Plains tried to upsell me thousands of dollars in unnecessary work, lied about the alternator, refused to communicate, and then charged me almost $300 for the "privilege" of being scammed. In short: Dishonest, rude, and predatory. Do yourself a favor--avoid this dealership at all costs.

I was in the area waiting for a call from my service personnel and never received one. Besides that, I drove home and the next morning, my car would not start. Called AAA and they had to come jump the battery. The battery cap was open, it was clearly drained during the service and clearly jumped by the dealership, but no one communicated that to me. Given that I drive a hybrid, and it was a short distance home, I never had the chance to charge up the battery. This led to a delay in going to work the next morning. Both experiences unfortunately led to an unpleasant impression and I am not sure who to reach out to for such concerns. I feel like customers should be communicated to when their battery is drained during service knowing that it's a hybrid vehicle.

However, on January 1, 2026, I was incorrectly charged $699 for my previous lease, in addition to payments for the new vehicle. Additionally, I have not been reimbursed for the unused portion of my prior lease covering December 22-December 31, 2025, which totals approximately $202. I contacted the dealership nearly two weeks ago regarding this issue. My salesperson, Fabio, advised that the team was "figuring out" the reimbursement. Since then, I have received no updates, no reimbursement, and no ETA. I attempted to follow up today, but the finance manager was unavailable and did not return my call. It is extremely disappointing that the dealership is very responsive when selling a vehicle, yet unresponsive when a customer is owed money. This matter should have been resolved promptly.
