Their high standards are established and defined at the top with Dr. James Cavanaugh, whose technical skills are the finest I've ever experienced and who also happens to be one of the nicest people you could ever meet. He always greets me with a kind smile, quick wit, and quiet confidence that combine with his impressive abilities to inspire great confidence. He also always ensures I completely understand any topic discussed or procedure considered. My hygienist is Katlyn. She is always on-time, never rushes, her cleaning technique is as thorough and gentle as it gets and she is as nice person as she is incredibly competent. Every member of the Portsmouth Family Dental team with whom I have interacted is exceptionally personable, engaging and exudes an upbeat persona, which I imagine is a point of emphasis during the hiring process, reinforced regularly and something for which they strive on a daily basis. The office itself is bright, has a professional yet comfortable appearance, possesses the most modern technical equipment and inspires as much confidence as do the team members. I truly have never seen a finer example of supreme representational and technical ability at any professional office. They are a role model. Simply stated, Portsmouth Family Dental has no equal and has my highest recommendation.
