Outstanding and innovative street food with amazing atmosphere. We happened to stumble upon JaffaJaffa last night as we were wandering outside of our normal walking route in Zwolle. What an unexpected and wonderful find. Although they have been here for three years we had never seen in before. From the moment we walked in, we were taken back by the stunning interior. There is also outdoor seating in the shadow of one of Zwolle's most historic churches. We were there at 5:30 on a Wednesday and the place was hopping. I can only imagine what this place is like on a Saturday night. Make reservations! The bar was also amazing. Reminding me of one of my favorite NYC bars; cozy yet modern, long with lots of choices. Great staff. The menu presented some challenges. Where you read a menu and are torn between several "must try" dishes, you know that you're in a good place. My wife had the fish and chips. I opted for the Thai fishcakes on the advice of our waitress. We split the coleslaw slaw, which was not your typical coleslaw slaw. Everything was so good! All-in-all, a wonderful experience and date night. We will absolutely be back with our kids. Five stars (not given lightly) read more
