I was very comfortable with him and without even knowing what the estimate would be, I knew I was probably going to hire him for the job. A few days passed and I had not received the estimate. I called him and he replied he was really busy on a really big job but would get the estimate to me as soon as possible. A few days later, I received it. I told him I was happy with the price (over 3K) and wished to hire him. I asked if he would be able to hold the price until the end of January, he said "no problem" Unfortunately, the end of January came and we were tighter budget wise than we expected due to a wedding. I called him back and asked if he could come back out because we needed to amend the work order and I wouldn't be able to start until March. He said "ok" and we set up an appointment for a Thursday night at 6. At 6 pm that Thursday, he hadn't shown up so I called. He told me he couldn't make it, he was stuck on a really big job AND then told me he didn't think he'd be able to do the work that I wanted. Not really professional in my opinion.
