The food was delivered promptly as scheduled. We ordered the brisket with baked beans, mac & cheese, cole slaw, and the best corn bread ever! The cornbread was sweet, moist and received rave reviews from my guests. Cole slaw can be hit or miss, but this slaw was perfect. The brisket was very tender and the variety of sauces provided were great. Some guests said the baked beans were the best they ever had! John was always responsive to my calls & questions and I will definitely use Smokey Boys BBQ again for future events. Thank you John!

The food was everything we imagined it would be and more. We got one of their packages and customized it a bit to fit my preggo craving and OH. MY. GOODNESS. They cooked a hefty meal on site for over 70 people and not only was the food plentiful, it tasted amazing! We had: Burgers- So juicy and plenty of toppings available!! BBQ Wings- We had spicy honey and bbq honey and both were very good. Pulled pork- hands down one of the best pulled pork i have ever had. it has this sweet, tangy flavor to it that really made it special. Ribs- Perfect. Not so fall of the bone that you cant even eat them without them sliding off but fall of the bone enough that with a gentle pull they just come apart. mouth is watering just thinking about them. 3 cheese mac and cheese- i hid a huge plate and it was my breakfast. THAT good. coleslaw, veggies, mushrooms, etc- everyone is still raving about these things. my personal fav was the asparagus! french fries- I would hire them again just for them to make me french fries. They tasted like the best fast food fries you have ever eaten. crispy, flavorful and just the right amount of salty. the staff was so helpful and tony really went above and beyond in answering my million questions. highly, highly, highly recommend and I will definitely by using them again!

Giovanni Fernandez catered our wedding December 2018. I regret the fact that dinner was the one let…read moredown of the evening. My husband and I, and unfortunately our guests, were completely dissatisfied with dinner and the presentation. When we met Giovanni Fernandez for the tasting, we were presented with - and agreed to- chicken with a sauce over it and mushrooms, skirt steak, and spaghetti pasta for the vegetarian dish. This was to be served with wild rice, mashed potatoes and asparagus. The only additional indication given to Giovanni the day before the wedding was to not use as much oil. What we received the evening of our wedding was chicken with no sauce or mushrooms, rigatoni pasta for our vegetarian dish that tasted nothing like what we agreed to the day of our tasting and mushy wild rice. The food was entirely too cold and it took over an hour for our 90 guests to receive their dinner. We do not consider ourselves to be difficult people. However, a lot of money, planning and effort goes into one's wedding and anyone will tell you that food is a key element. We put our trust in Chef Giovanni and expected him to deliver what he promised us during the tasting. Unfortunately, this is now a part of the experience tied to our wedding and we do not believe that it should go unnoticed. We wrote to Giovanni via our wedding planner and after her second attempt, he replied. He said he'd never run into such a situation and that he would want to cater another event for us at no cost. We replied that we didn't have any events planned and that what we would appreciate was compensation for the effect his lack of service had on our wedding. Giovanni did not reply. I emailed him once more and called him and have yet received a response. I'd like to warn individuals seeking his services. A responsible and honest business person does not react like this when it is a fact they delivered subpar food and service. I wish I would have read every single one of his reviews on here because this isn't the first time Giovanni has let clients down. Beware!

The worst part about a business is bad Customer Service and not caring about your business reputation. This is the only reason I wrote this review. Businesses have to take responsibility for the quality they provide to the public Anyone can open a business and close down in a year. Luckily thanks to Eggwhites service I was able to have the appetizers brought to me at the bridal suite onsite but still, if I could go back to have some of those mushroom risotto spoons right now I would. Luckily, I made up for it by indulging in as many mac and cheese bites as I could during late night bites! On top of that, the presentation was absolutely beautiful. The guests raved for weeks afterwards about the quality of the service. The staff at Eggwhites are a team of outstanding professionals and I would trust them to handle any event big or small. Sarah worked me with throughout the process to choose the best menu and deal with big and small changes and I really appreciated that I saw her helping out the wedding planner deal with something that was really important to me during the wedding and completely unrelated to the catering. Now will anyone please invite me to their wedding catered by eggwhites so I can focus on the food and pretty presentation this time? :)
