Our beagle mix. was getting a full treatment, shampoo, blow dry and nail clipping. They also cleaned her ears and her bum and did a deshedding. She was only there for about two hours. When I took her to Critter Clippers, my abused, traumatized dog was put in a cage all day. I brought her in at 9 AM and kept calling to find out when she was.ready to pick up. As soon as I pull into the parking lot, he's already whining to get out of the car and in to the facility, and he just can't wait to go back in to the play area. (He doesn't even look back at me! Hahaha.) Backing up a bit, I really liked how the staff did an initial assessment of our dog before letting him attend group plays. They assess every new dog, and group them by personality, not size. This is really important, as dog behavior is based on attitude and personality, not size. So we can feel confident our dog is grouped only with dogs that will play in similar ways, and be safe. The facility is quite large, having three separate group play areas. Every group play area that allows outside access (weather permitting). And as the weather warms up, they even turn on the splash pads for dogs who like to play in the water. Wags also offers grooming, boarding, and training. We are planning to put our dog in to the training now that he is very comfortable being at Wags. And eventually, suspect we'll need to use the overnight boarding. The staff are all wonderful and love dogs. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog in their care.

Every time I have had a question or need a suggestion, the people help me and never act like your question is a pain to them. They take the time and give you the information you need to help find the best food for your dog, cat, whatever. I recently adopted a Standard Poodle puppy and before I even brought him home, I called to talk with their groomer, Katie. She helped me so much as I have never been owned by a dog who needs grooming. I guarantee that as soon as Asher has all of his shots, he will go to Pet Headquarters for his trims and cuts. It is so important to have a place to go for your pets that isn't online, that is a place you can go to and trust. When I buy Asher's harness, they have the perfect one for him there and they have the colors to choose from. They even fitted one of my rescues with the right harness and collar for me. Also, they do amazing donations to the rescues in the area. I have brought them food for those places and they have a wonderful setup so the rescues can pick up needed food and treats. The metal bathing tubs flexed which caused my dog to move around. The metal tub wasn't really large enough for his 75 lbs. Worse, the water wasn't a constant warm as it should be. There were two spigots, one for cold and hot. I ignored the cold one but the hot one wouldn't stay warm. It kept going cold. I cut short the bath and just rinsed him. Another person bathing her dog next to mine had the same issues. I will not return here.

We take our Boxer Booker to Always Unleashed for daycare and for boarding. He loves it there! He…read moregets so excited when we pull in and can't wait to run out to the yard and play. We can hardly get his leash off, he's so eager to see friends. We love the live cameras in the yard and inside the hound lounge. It's so nice to be able to check on our fur baby and see what he is up to! One of the main reasons we love Always Unleashed is not only the live cameras, but they are "always unleashed!" They don't kennel the dogs. They all hang out together outside and inside. All the dogs seem calm because they don't have the pent up anxiety of being in a kennel outside of their home. They aren't barking all the time and agitated. They are hanging together as a group. The outside has a ton of misters and a large pool for the pups. They have lots of room to play. Our dog Booker has made friends with other dogs and it's so fun to see him playing and happy. He was boarded over his birthday this past year and they gave him special treats and extra attention. They sent us pictures and videos. They are currently under renovation, redoing the front office check-in space. It will be nice when it's all completed, but it's been nice they have stayed open during the renovation. This summer our flight was delayed flying home from Chicago and Shea was great letting us pick up Booker a little later. We didn't want to wait another day to see our baby! Another time we were stuck on the 17 in traffic because of an accident coming home from Flagstaff. They understand how important our fur baby is to us! Another time Booker got a hot spot on his paw and they were on the phone with me about it and how I wanted it treated. Then after he was home Shea followed up with me to see how he was doing. Booker always comes home happy and tired. Always Unleashed is a great place for day care or boarding, highly recommend.
