My boyfriend and I recently got into RC cars, and he has visited Riders a few times to pick up…read moreparts. Unfortunately, each visit has been disappointing. They often sell him the wrong items or are completely out of what he needs to get his RC car running. Most recently, he purchased a brushless motor they recommended, and we returned today hoping to buy a transmitter. To our surprise, we were informed that they wouldn't have any in stock until the end of August! To add to our frustration, they have a strict no-return policy, so we're stuck with parts that don't work for us. It's frustrating to rely on a shop that consistently misses the mark on customer needs and doesn't offer refunds for incorrect purchases. We won't be coming back and want to warn others to think twice before buying from them.

Hu?? really I said your joking right he said nope I'm like keep that oil and any other stuff I might need I wont buy anything from here! this could have been a great thing but to be like that cant even take 2 seconds to look at something with out wanting money or to get paid! I was shocked that never used to be like that people would give you help with something just as a courtesy good for business. well I had allot of money to spend there maybe not today but there's other cars I might have wanted down the road that one I just bought was $2200 well it wont be from there. ( its going to happen someone some ware will be having a heart attach but before any life saving measures happen there's going to be a charge)

I recently got really into building LEGO sets for the first time ever and have been curious about…read morefinding more to put together. I have a couple issues with this - first of all, the big LEGO sets (1,000+ pieces) that I want to do are so expensive if you buy them new. I'm talking like $300+. The other issue I have is that I don't necessarily want or need to have multiple LEGO sets in my house, either completed or in pieces. I don't have the time or interest to create my own builds using various pieces. So, I started to do some looking around for some local spots that might be useful and found DNA Brix. Nate and I went to check it out recently and did end up buying a new set there. They also have used sets and loose LEGO pieces that you can buy by the bag. You can sell your LEGO sets and/or pieces or get store credit for them too. The employee working was really nice and explained some things about how they work and mentioned that they would have some new sets in the next couple weeks since they just bought a ton of LEGO from someone recently. I imagine it takes a bit of time for them to sort through and categorize everything! I even noticed a sign that indicated they were hiring at-home sorters and counters. I think ultimately what would be best for me is a rental program where I could rent a set, put it together, and then return it. I don't think anything like this exists locally, but I did find an online business for this. In the meantime, I've already started the NYC Architecture kit we got at DNA Brix and have been having a blast. If you're in to LEGO or want to sell some, definitely check them out.
