Shocking customer service, took them three hours to finish a manicure / pedicure! I was charged full price even though they have a clear sign stating if you pay cash, you receive a 10% discount. My nail shape was butchered by the manager after one of the lovely girls had already shaped my nails to my desired shape.
Over all I had five different staff assist me today due to the rush in the store. Now I know I'm not paying for a luxurious experience however $75 isn't exactly an hours work with a students wage. It took the salon an hour to start my service, meanwhile they persisted other walk in clients to take a seat, claiming it would only be a ten minute wait... Which bafiled me seeing as my nails had been soaking for over an hour easily. After 45 minutes of soaking my feet, I calmly gathered my things to leave. I was quickly assured by the manager that someone was about to assist me. I explained it's my only day off and I understand they are busy... I just didn't have time to waste. She continued to tell me that if I wait ten minutes my hands and feet would be done simultaneously... I agreed to sit back down, not wanting to make drama for the other customers waiting. To no surprise they were done separately. The timing was one dissapointing factor another was the butchering of my nails. Without asking my nails were formed into coffin shape. Some may like this acquired look however I don't find it suits me. The minute she finished painting she asked me to wash my hands. After washing she was already with another customer. I asked if she was finished with me which she replied yes it's 75 dollars. I walked out of the nail salon almost in tears. I honestly liked my nails more before my service with regrowth. My nails were not clean nor did she do an accurate job. Each nail is shaped differently, black sns from my previous set had leaked around my nails while they were taking it off. Nothing was cleaned. On top of this she snapped a section of one nail while filing my nails. It got stuck behind another nail and was still attached on the side. It was causing me quite discomfort.. When I told her, she replied with I'll get to it soon. At this point I was in pain and demanded ( still politely) that it's hurting and she should fix it before continuing. I spoil myself every three to four weeks and get my sns done and three different locations. Never have I walked out feeling unhappy for a service. Safe to say I won't be returning ever again and I really recommend staying away from Jade Nails. Such a good colour selection but unfortunately they have no idea how to run a successful business. I understand people going to their local salon for convenience but I specifically came to jade from stkilda having in mind the colour selection. I rang the manager an hour later to have a chat thinking it might be a more pleasant discussion for her as a pose to face to face where all her clients would see how at unease another customer was. Her response was disgusting... Take a photo and go to consumer affairs.... I'm done. Shame for the women working under the pump of such a system. read more
