A beautiful bridal shop. The people here are so helpful and although they do not have a huge variety of options, they do have quality pieces. I came here to try on dresses with my sister (who is the one getting married not me) and it was a great experience! They have a beautiful set up here and they know how to make you feel comfortable. We were able to try on many different styles and take a bunch of pictures to look at later. She has not decided whether or not she will go with a dress from Jade's, but that doesn't take away from the service and experience she got.

My daughter chose this shop to search for her wedding dress. Not sure what I was expecting, but considering it was in Chicago (and I've been to many stores/boutiques in the city) I assumed it would be elegant - at the very least "decent". RUDE AWAKENING!! Firstly, pulling up the very first thing that turned me off was that their windows hadn't been cleaned in some time and graffiti littered them. First impression - uhm.....O-kaaayyy then. Next, when we entered the building Rebecca (I believe was her name) was on the phone, and did not greet us. She just opened the door and waved us in. Oh it gets better - We approach the sitting area and begin to settle in. One of the girls in our group pointed out the many strands of hair that were covering the little sofa. The only thing we could make of this was Rebecca (yes it was her hair) must rest on it. ?? We settle in and look around - the place was in need of a deep cleaning and needs freshened up. The large mirror in front of - as well as the rug under the box (where the bride stands to showcase the dress) were both filthy. The walls were nasty. They had an orange utility extension cord draped across a black ceiling leading to their big chandelier!! No effort to disguise it. There is more, but I'll not go on. Rebecca was very kind, aside from the welcome we didn't receive. The only complaint I have with her is her attire. She literally just threw a black suit coat over her t-shirt and jeans and UGG boots. Not very professional for this industry- I6

Very nice boutique/store. For a small business it has a good variety, but mostly it has really beautiful and good quality dresses. Dresses: all are beautiful, very good quality, nice variety and EXCELLENT prices. You can easily get an amazing dress for less than $2000. I got one from pronovias (which is very famous for only $1500). The owner was even very kind to work a discount for the belt and veil. Service: excellent, the owner was very sweet and kind and helped us a lot. It was very easy to make an appointment. I even requested to return the next day to try a veil I had (but forgot at home) and she had no problem accommodating me. Alteration can be made in store and she will order a brand new dress for you

Wini is the best! I was pretty stressed out shopping for wedding dresses and by this time it was probably the 10th store and 100 dress... I was exhausted and unhappy. I just didn't feel connected to any dress and couldn't bare the thought of spending so much for something that I would wear for a few hours. I came to wini to alter my aunts dress but she heard my concerns and came up with an alternative solution. She worked with my budget and did not make me feel that my budget was unreasonable. I bought one of her dresses from the rack and also had alterations done there. My dress was finished within a week. I have recommended and referred all my engaged friends here!

After going to two previous appointments, that did not go well, I was not looking forward to going to another. But the moment I walked into Jade, I was greeted by Monica and she was very excited and friendly. All the dresses were so beautiful (seriously!) and Monica did an amazing job assisting me while I was dressing and really catered to what I envisioned I would look like that day. I brought the most beautiful gown and I can't wait for my wedding day!

Jade bridal is truly amazing. They will do everything they possibly can to accommodate you. I was recently maid of honor in my best friend's wedding and we had a wonderful experience working with Jade bridal. The sales woman was professional, kind, supportive and did not make us feel pressured in any way. The owner was understanding of our timeframe and budget. They carry an incredible selection of dresses including Casablanca. Do not hesitate to shop at this female owned, beautiful bridal shop. They will make your special day even better with an exquisite dress.

This seam should not be here.

I found my dream dress here. The rest of the experience, however, was AWFUL. DO NOT BUY AND ALTER YOUR WEDDING DRESS HERE. Buying the dress was easy. The first problem came when I received the call that my dress was ready to be shipped, and I just needed to make my final payment. Wini said after the payment posted, it would take 2-3 weeks for the dress to come in. What she never mentioned until over a month later, was that shipping was delayed because of a warehouse relocation. She never called or emailed to tell me this. When the dress finally came in, it was big. Wini said 2 inches on either side should fit. It was too late to order the veil I wanted. Wini said her seamstress could make a veil that looks just like the one I wanted. 2nd fitting- dress was big in the bust, a little snug in the back and still long. The lace jacket had a HUGE SEAM in the front, because the SEAMSTRESS THOUGHT THE BUTTONS WENT IN FRONT. At least, that's what Wini said. 3rd fitting, 10 days until the wedding. Veil looked like a child's arts and crafts project. The dress was so tight in the back, I had back fat spilling over. Wini said I was swollen because it was hot outside. She said I should have 6 girls help me and pat myself down in baby powder.! The bust still did not fit. When I emailed her my concerns about the back being too tight, she emailed me back stating she would tell her seamstress to take out an inch. That's when it occurred to me at no point at any fitting did I ever see a seamstress. At no point was I measured, or pinned. Wini simply chose to keep taking it in, ultimately guessing on the alterations!! I felt like an idiot, how did I not realize I needed a seamstress?!?! I guess I just trusted this woman, business owner, to know how to do her job. After demanding to see the seamstress because Wini said she didn't speak English, I pointed out you don't need to speak English to see a dress doesn't fit. 8 days before my wedding and my dress doesn't fit and the woman who sold it to me thinks it's ok for her bride to look like a stuffed sausage. The "seamstress" ended up taking the dress out, putting a HUGE SEAM down the front of my lace bodice, pieces of fabric sticking out of the sides and missing lace scallopping around the edge of the dress. I ended up grabbing my dress, which was on a wire hanger and flimsy short open plastic bag, and took it to another seamstress who was DISGUSTED. She said the dress was done so badly, the person who did it had no experience altering wedding dresses or working with lace. My dress needed to be taken IN again, 3 inches at the waist, hemmed about 4 inches, bust taken in at the seams and the jacket patched up and re-done to hide the seams and folded fabric seams. I paid for a new dress and ended up wearing a dress that was taken in and out so many times it didn't even have all of its original fabric. It had spots on it, presumably from Wini transporting it back and forth to her "seamstress." At the end of the day, I did get my money back for the alterations and veil. She never reimbursed me for what I paid at the new seamstress, even after stating in an email she would cover the cost for alterations. Wini has no business selling wedding dresses. She obviously doesn't care what her brides look like. There is no seamstress on site to do proper measurements. No bride should EVER go through what I went through the week of my wedding. If the dress was properly fitted, none of this would have happened. DO NOT GO HERE. BOTTOM LINE.

I knew exactly what I wanted and was on a mission. The shop itself is absolutely gorgeous and the bridal suites have so much room and a few comfy chairs for guests. Brooke was my stylist and she was absolutely amazing. After trying on a few dresses from the sample rack, Brooke was honing in on details about what I liked and didn't like. She ended up finding my dream dress and paired it with the PERFECT veil. Though the dress wasn't from the sample rack, it was still cheaper then some of the sample options!! I'm so glad she allowed me to explore additional options from what we originally came in for. She was amazing in bringing my vision to life and was even pairing things from other gowns to help me envision customization options (I ended up ordering the dress with sparkle tulle on the second layer, just like she showed me!). I can't thank Brooke and TWM for making the whole experience a dream come true and helping me find the perfect dress!!!

It gets worse. We purchased a small amount of additional fabric to add to the bodice and were told this would be done with no additional charge," only to be presented with a significant additional charge when we picked up the dress. And finally, when we had confirmed a time to pick up the dress for tailoring, and left messages during that day to remind them we were coming and at what time, we arrived to a closed store - even though we were safely within their hours of operation. Did they apologize? No. Did they give any sense that they felt bad for leaving us high and dry? Nope. I would encourage anyone thinking about using the store to save time, money, and grief by looking elsewhere.

Everything was so thoughtfully prepared, and it made the entire experience feel seamless and personalized. As a plus-sized bride, I was a little nervous about finding the right dress and having options to try on in my size, but I was blown away by the selection. Sarah was incredible--she made me feel so comfortable, confident, and genuinely celebrated throughout the entire process. The team went above and beyond, even helping me find the perfect accessories to complete my look. I ended up falling in love with a Maddie Lane gown--the Jaya dress--and it was everything I had hoped for. I also chose to upgrade my appointment to include desserts and champagne when my dress arrived, which made the experience even more special and fun. I'm writing this review as a friend of the bride who was on the phone with her during this…read moreexperience today, and what I witnessed was honestly upsetting. She was sitting in the lobby visibly upset and asked multiple times for her dress so she could leave. Instead of honoring that request, the staff made her wait over 20 minutes while they said they were "taking pins out," because they wanted her to wait until the same seamstress who had already significantly over-quoted her finished with another client. There was no urgency, no compassion, and no concern for the fact that she was emotional and clearly distressed. I listened as she sat there, uncomfortable and frustrated, while the staff prioritized convenience over basic customer care. At no point did anyone acknowledge how upsetting the situation was or offer to expedite getting her dress back so she could leave. The attitude was essentially wait until we're ready, regardless of how she felt. This is a bride getting married next month, already under pressure, and instead of being treated with empathy, she was made to sit and wait while her concerns were dismissed. The dress itself may be beautiful, but the way she was treated today was unacceptable. If you're considering this boutique, understand that once there is a problem, you may be met with indifference instead of support. Brides deserve patience, respect, and understanding, especially in moments like this. Based on what I personally heard and witnessed today, I will absolutely be warning others about this boutique. If you are a bride looking for a happy, supportive, and honest experience, this is not the place to go.

I'm leaving this review to be transparent and help other brides avoid the same situation…read more I want to be clear that I am happy with the dress itself, however I am very disappointed with my overall experience here. If I had known I would experience what I did, I would not have chosen this boutique in the first place. It's important to note that my dress was off-the-rack, and I fully understood and accepted that it would come with minor imperfections. Because of this, I specifically asked about cleaning and care at the time of purchase. When I purchased my dress, Lindsay, who assisted me during the appointment, told me that spot cleaning, tailoring, and steaming would be around $500-$700, and that it would be on the lower side because I didn't need much work done. I made it clear at the time that I understood she was not the seamstress and that this was a guesstimate, but it was presented as a realistic expectation and part of my decision-making process. Lindsay was very pleasant and helpful, and she also advised me to purchase a corset, which I did and found very helpful. However, her wording was ultimately deceptive, as it did not align with what I was later told or charged. When I raised concerns about the pricing and clearly pointed out that the information given to me was deceptive and that I had been lied to, every staff member involved denied it entirely. There was no accountability, only repeated claims that it was a "miscommunication," followed by statements that it "shouldn't have been said," despite this being clearly discussed at the time of purchase and heard by four other witnesses. Both the seamstress and the front counter staff later told me that I could "get the stains out myself," which was never mentioned at the time of purchase and directly contradicted what I was originally told regarding cleaning and care. To make matters more confusing, the seamstress also stated that she does not do any cleaning or steaming whatsoever, which directly contradicts what was represented to me when I bought the dress. I was also told that if the stains could not be removed, I would need to find and coordinate a dry cleaner on my own. This was especially concerning because I am already on a tight timeline -- I am getting married next month, which is exactly why I chose an off-the-rack dress in the first place. Today, I was quoted $750, not including a $30 credit card convenience fee plus taxes, which pushed the total even higher. To be fair, the boutique did offer to refund the dress, but that was not the issue. The issue was the lack of honesty, transparency, and ownership when concerns were raised. I would also strongly advise brides not to use the seamstress they recommend, as the pricing was significantly gouged. I am currently getting another opinion, and the quote is $200-$300 lower for the same work. Wedding planning requires trust and clear communication. Unfortunately, that trust was broken here. I highly recommend getting everything in writing and seeking outside opinions before committing.
