He's a one man shop - providing it all - chiropractic, physical therapy, massage, etc., which is why you haven't heard of him yet (unless you're one of his pro golfer clients!). He's honestly too busy to do his own PR or marketing, so I hope if you're reading this, you also visit him and review him! Overall, Dr. Jacobsen works as a chiropractor but approaches his patients holistically combining his skills in physical therapy, knowledge of anatomy and physiology as a military nurse, athletics and fitness as a runner, cyclist and swimmer. The outcome in terms of pain relief, relaxation and overall wellness has been LIFE SAVING - UNBELIEVABLE! for me and everyone else I've recommended to him. Myself, my family and friends go to him, and my own pains were due to a traumatic incident that left me with severe neck and joint pain, which is nearly gone now, due to Dr. John's help (weekly). Now I go for over 40 aches and pains with trying to stay fit - and he regularly undoes the cricks in the neck, soreness in the joints, and overall lower back pain each time. If you do, you'll be shocked to learn that he takes insurance, charges your co-pay, and you get to come back the next week for the same price. She was confident that he would take care of the muscle problems brought on by the compensating I was doing to cope with Scoliosis. My hips were rotated and uneven, so I was unable to distribute my weight equally. This frustrated me because I knew that I was not getting the full benefit from my exercise routines. In spite of the success stories she told me regarding others she had sent to Dr. Jacobson, I decided to make a consultation appointment with two chiropractors to determine whom I felt would give me the best care. I did not go to Dr. John first, however when I did go to his office I knew within minutes that he would be my choice. His professionalism and pleasant personality were my first impressions. Dr. John treated me for a full hour working from my head to my toes. I could hardly wait to thank my therapist for telling me about him. He has treated my sinus problems with acupuncture. That was eight weeks ago, and I am still without sinus issues. Go see Dr. Jacobson! First of all I got in the same day I called as a new patient. An appointment was not available; but, upon Dr. Jacobson's compassion and understanding of my acute pain level, he worked me in, stayed after hours, missed a dinner party just so I could start my healing process. He is incredibly professional and very knowledgable. He has a passion for informing his clients of their condition and teaching ways to modify exercise and daily activities to allow continued healing and continued living. He enables his clients to become part of their healing process while equipping them with the tools and knowledge to prevent re-injury and encourage physical health and renewal. His bedside manor is genuine, compassionate, gentle and reassuring. He is skilled in many facets of the chiropractic arts including acupuncture and craniotomy sacral techniques. Although, my initial visit was for back pain and significant reduction in ability to move; which, has dramatically improved, he has also been instrumental with insomnia and encouraging me to continue to be physically active while in recovery. Dr. Jacobson and his staff are wonderful. I am a physician and was reluctant to see a Chiropractor based on the outlandish claims that I have read in the media. I was pleasantly surprised by his realistic approach to my knee problems and my desire to continue running and competing in triathlons. I previously ran marathons but in the last several years I was unable to run past 5 miles due to knee pain. I had seen Orthopedists and had a knee MRI revealing no joint injury. The recommendation was always rest and anti- inflammatory medications. Dr. Jacobson explained that my condition was due to muscle and tendon issues and that I should continue to exercise moderately while undergoing treatment. Because of his ongoing treatment I was able to confidently train and complete an iron man triathlon pain free. Dr. Jacobson treated me for neck and back pain after I had disc replacement surgery on my c-spine. He definitely knows his stuff!
