I am here with my mom who had disc surgery. Her physician, who works in an office about 25 miles away, recommended this facility for her to have the surgery done. From arrival in the waiting room this morning with a quiet, spacious waiting area... to the unbelievably friendly staff, I don't think I've ever felt at ease in a hospital the way I did today. Every team member who came by and visited with my mom pre-op was wonderful. They were sharp, attentive, and most of all, friendly. They knew what they were doing, but also managed to combine that with a human touch. It's a great feeling to know that you're not just a number or a barcode -- you're a human. I have to a give a special shout-out to my mom's post-op nurse, Sandra. She was incredibly smart, but also really funny. She very carefully monitored my mom and managed to lift her spirits at the same time. I want Sandra as my nurse! This isn't your everyday hospital, so chances are, you won't be coming here anytime soon. But if you are coming here, and you're curious enough to come on Yelp, know that this place is top-notch.

I've had very long waits for appointments and other days he's been able to see my son within 10 minutes of calling (like in the emergency we had today) so all in all, typical Dr's office. I went there on advice of my primary physician to ask them to take a Stress Test. I told the lady up front that I only needed a Stress Test. She said I need to be seen by Dr Irfan Iftikhar first. Of course Dr Iftikhar welcomed me in, and after a brief discussion said that my Stress Test would be around $950, and because of the cost I asked him to delay it till February, when my Medicare would kick in. He agreed, but said in the meantime he would have my ECG taken today, just to create a history of myself. I asked how much the ECG would cost, he told me, "Don't worry, insurance will take care of it", and the initial $30 I paid up front is all that was required. I told him my primary care physician just took an ECG 3 days ago. Dr Iftikhar said he would rather do another one at this clinic. So I agreed to the test. Last month I got a bill for $1,265. The Echo test cost me $800, the consultancy (all 20 minutes of it!), cost me $380, and an ECG cost me $85. I was in good physical health. Now I am not so sure, after receiving this huge bill which my insurance won't cover.
