And this is in the many rooms we've tried. On the plus, they have tons of rooms and generally decent parking, although prepare to have to park far away in the parking lot. On the big minuses, is their refusal to book any room starting on an odd number hour. So, for example, you cannot book a room from 1-3 pm. They insist you start at noon, when they open or at 2pm, so they don't have to eat the 1 hour from 12-1pm. I've never faced this at any other rehearsal studio in Los Angeles. They will book you from 12-3, however, and then just eat the hour from 3-4pm. Huh?! Like, dude, your logic makes zero sense. I'd rather go to Grooveworks in Long Beach or Summit in Pasadena. Many other good spots without such arbitrary rules. Luckily won't have to go back. Trying to talk logic to the owner is like beating your head against a wall.

The audio engineer was very patient with my son and his friends. They were writing down lyrics for the rap AT the recording studio, while the audio engineer was converting his song on spotify into his protools. Great microphone. An the recording quality was great, watching him move around protools sop fast was hypnotizing. The mix sounded great and he was teaching my sons friend how to play different chords on the guitar. He also taught him how to solo. He has a great keyboard with many sounds including a really good sounding rhodes, clavinet, and piano. He shared a lot of wisdom and showed my son where to get protools and how to use it. My son and one of his friends rapped, and he was patient, giving them as many tries as they would like. he also added beat drops, and quickly mixed the song down. He airdropped it to me. My son, his friends, and I were overall completely satisfied with his performance, patience, swiftness, wisdom, and kindness. I highly reccomend this studio, and hope you will give it a try!

It was expensive but worth every penny- they sound proofed an entire wall in 1 room (and both doors) and the work was flawless- it's an entire fabric wall (we got to pick the color) and it blends seamlessly.
