The staff is very friendly and really encourages supporting other dancers, love that. Felt very welcomed coming in for the first and only time unless more friends decide to workshop. Floors are a bit slippery but of course no street shoes should touch the floor however this was a pop up workshop so the shoes were definitely on the floor. This is my first and probably only time here so I'm only going based off my one experience here and nothing really blew me away. I do understand that this isn't a regular dance studio, it's more for kids and performative dance. Great staff though.

Most dance studios cost an arm and a leg; Stepping Out has always been reasonable and accommodating. It's great to be able to enjoy dance and not worry about corporate society when this is a studio that is truly family run and family oriented. I literally took Mike a giant box of 55 old VHS, MiniDV, and Hi8 tapes for digitizing. He did such…read morea fantastic job from start to finish. The videos look amazing, and my wife and I have been watching them nonstop for the past few days. You can provide your own HDD or SSD for the file transfers, or he can provide them for you. I tossed all the videos into a Plex server and stream them to my 75 inch 4K TV and they all look fantastic. Audio completely flawless and in sync too. Many of them were upscaled to 1080p and both picture and audio are great. If you're into audio/video stuff you'll have some great conversations with him. If not, don't sweat it and he'll take care of everything... you don't have to worry about a thing. Mike is super nice dude, does a great job, and his pricing is fair too. I will absolutely go back if I can dig up more old tapes that need digitizing. Some of these tapes have friends and family members who have passed away and these videos are quite literally priceless to us. You have no idea how happy my wife and I are. Honest, upfront reasonable pricing, capable, knowledgeable, professional... The List goes on…read more.. Mike converted an old VHS Cassette tape to a USB drive and did a fantastic job with it. I originally reached out via YELP and he responded within 24 hours with upfront pricing, and exactly what I needed to bring if I wanted a USB conversion. He told me he would have the job done within a week, and he delivered in less than a week. I suggest you either call or message them with what you need, and they will tell you upfront if they can or cannot do it and how much it would cost etc.
