Staff seemed distant but aren't hesitant when it comes to requests or questions. Food was good and relatively fresh since staff checked on the buffet every now and then to replenish with more food. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a lunch after spending hours at the palace.

One might ask the question to me - why travel all the way there when there are so many other markets closer? Well the answer is the shop in the market called Crispy Dream. It is here that they are offering a schnitzel made with one of Austria's iconic food products - Kürbiskernöl (pumpkin seed oil.) I had the chicken schnitzel cooked in this special oil and all I can say is, "Wow, it sure tasted good!!" The friendly owner told me his is the only shop in Vienna serving this tasty treat. And that is exactly why I traveled to the Johann-Nepomuk-Vogl market to eat it!
