Actually what it is, is a shop where you can find a larger selection of wines for a fantastic price. This is what makes Wine Bin one of my favourite shops to go into because of the range of stock. This store located on Birmingham Road, gets a lot of people going there because of where it is. There are always plenty of people buying drinks on a Friday & Saturday- stocking up on their alcoholic beverages for the weekend ahead. It was pretty busy when the weather was nicer. Inside, the store is well organised and always stocked of the finest wine brands, as well as beers and spirits. So, it's not just a place you can buy wine, you can buy other drinks too which makes the place better because it's like a 'one stop' shop.

The floors inside are clean, the products are logically organised into appropriate sections and a small range of snacks, newspapers and ice lollies are available on top of just your usual lagers and spirits. On my visit, I was greeted by a smile and not harassed to make a purchase whilst browsing. I found the prices here to be pretty average, but in all, the store was very clean and I'd definitely visit again.

Very small and narrow so when busy can be a bit of a bustle. Downside is that the quality of course is not the best - but who cares for a tenner? By the time they have worn out the 'looks' have most probably changed anyhow. Also you do have to trawl through quite a bit of 'Tack' to find the decent stuff. Be careful also as the fit of all their shoes is quite narrow!! Kids range is great value and useful for school shoes if your child wrecks them after a few weeks like mine does!!

The Bullring Top Shop is fab -- it has two stories, and is really huge. The bottom half is women's clothing, shoes, and accessories. The top half is men and children. The men's section is a lot larger than other Top Shops I've been to, and has a great selection of ties, belts and shoes for men. I've bought my fashionable brother-in-law many an item from the Bullring Top Shop! There are five tills, and unlike other Top Shops, there are always staff on them, so you don't have to queue for hours. The staff at this TS isn't quite as helpful as they could be -- oh, forget it, they're downright dismissive, as if working in TS is something we all aspire to. I've never really found them as helpful as the one in The Fort or others in London I've been to. The papershop/newsagents is not the biggest, but sells much of the same as the others. It is the only papershop in the area, which is around catheral lanes and hertford street. They sell the usual sweets and chocolates. Nespapers and a small sleection of magazines. You wont find half of them here so you would need to go to whsmith for more specialist ones. Although they have a small selection of magazines it doesnt really do them much harm. They also have quite friendly staff too which is always a good thing in smaller shops like this one. As there are many larger shops to compete against. So a smile or chat does go a long way! They also sell ice cream , which as you can imagine sells in the hundreds in the summer. The shop also sells scale model cars too. One window is full of them. A great place to have a papershop at the top of the town where there are no others. 4 stars verdict on this great little shop.

Besides the Post office, there is a travel agent, Homeware dept, electrical dept, food/supermarket area, and a toy department plus a cafe. It is a good all round shop with plenty to offer. I do find the prices on the steep side though - even their own brand food. Although I have had the odd bargain with electricals. My brother also tels me that there travel deals are very good - and that they are very good at catering for the less able ( my sister in Law is wheelchair bound). The service is adequate. They say please and thankyou and are civil - but don't expect a smile!! I always find it nigh on impossible to locate a staff member on the actual shop floor, and then they always seem unsure of their stock - you get 'Oh I don't work on that department sorry'. The cafe does a decent enough breakfast but its nothing spectacular. and I always feel like I am sat at the bus stop eating or something. the area is kind of in the middle of everything else and everyone can watch you eating (maybe that's just me being weird!!)./.
