This store has a vast range of clothing including Per Una, Blue Harbour and Limited Collection to name but a few. Due to the sheer size of the store there is an impressive selection of each. It also has a good range of homeware too, including duvets, settees and dinner sets. There is a branch of M&S Money instore, as well as a sizeable area devoted purely to returns and exchanges. None of the items at M&S you could describe as cheap, but the overall quality is high. This store also has a generous sized cafe selling a good range of hot and cold drinks. In addition there are also scones, pastries, slices of cake and few hot dishes like toasted sandwiches and breakfast muffins. The coffee is of a decent quality, but be warned the large sized cups are huge! The electronic devices that herald the arrival of your hot food, are a contant source of amusement too! The final icing on the cake is the large food hall, to the side of the store, with its own portion of car park. This is the biggest M&S food hall I've been in, and the range of food and other products is striking. Ok, so the food is much more expensive than most supermarkets, however, on the whole the food is tasty and inspires me to get back into the kitchen. Overall a great store, that is a bit of a honeypot for local shoppers.

I find they are great for frozen stuff - but I would not do my full shop here as the other items tend to be dearer elsewhere and poor in choice. Its not a one-stop shop in the way that ASDA is for example. I go once a month and fill up my freezer with all the bargains. The location is ideal - right next to the car park so you do not have to carry bags far. If you are non-driver like me (useless I know - and very much another story) then they also do free delivery on spends of over £25 which is really useful. Again my only real gripe is the size of the place, its aisles are very narrow. Its ok when quite but on a saturday or on market day its just vile!!! I hate queues and I hate fighting for space with several elbows to get to the freezers.

Food and toiletries are on the ground floor, along with a pharmacists. I can particularly recommend Asda's ready made Indian takeaway that you just zap in the microwave its really good and a fraction of the cost from a curry house. I also think its great that they now stock Polish food and some Russian too. Their own brand products are brilliant value, and they have great ideas for kids lunch boxes. Upstairs are clothes, toys and electrical with homewares too. You can get most things. They only downside is that we shop here thinking we are going to save money on the weekly food shop - but end up with a higher total bill as we get sucked in to buying other stuff that we see upstairs!! The childrens uniforms and basics like t-shirts from here start at £1 and you can't get much better than that.
