I received injections in my spine and in the mean time walking was becoming increasingly difficult. It got to the point I could hardly walk at all. That is when I found Dr Matt Tatsuno! He gave me my mobility back. My first visit with him he stood and listened to what had happened. He had me lie down. He then pulled each leg. instant relief. I walked out pain free and with very little limp. I actually had a serious injury, my gluteus medius muscle was torn nearly off of my leg. This was diagnosed with an MRI. But since three years had passed, every local doctor I saw said it was too late to repair or didn't think it was an issue! During this time, Dr Matt kept me walking! I eventually ended up with a doctor in Valencia who repaired my injury. Matt was my biggest cheer leader. He is so caring and kind. On New Year's Eve, I was trying to start the year off right by working out. I attempted to do…read moreweighted squats with what I know now as very bad form. As I was doing my 4th rep, my lower back gave out and I was in excruciating pain. I literally could not walk, sit, or stand without agonizing pain. The only thing I could do was crawl. Luckily my husband had been treated by Dr. Ryan before & raved about him so it was a no brainer for me to choose him as my chiropractor. Because the following day was New Year's Day, we weren't able to see him until the day after. I have never been to a chiropractor before and I was scared. Dr. Ryan was very warm & welcoming. So was the staff. We started out with a brief examination & then an X-ray to make sure that I was able to be adjusted that day. Even though it was painful, it had to be done. The next day we went over the results of the X-ray. He showed me the condition of my spine & it wasn't in good shape. It was due to an accumulation of past injuries, poor posture, and labor intensive jobs. He recommended that I have treatments 3 times a week for 12 weeks. The treatments differ from patient to patient & depends on what your needs are. After 1 week, I was able to walk normal, wash dishes, put on my own clothes & had minimal pain. I am almost done with my treatments now & the only thing I regret is that I didn't come here sooner. I wish I had known the importance of spinal health when I was younger.
