Very unnecessarily rude and unprofessional to my wife (a potential multi year repeat customer) over chat. She spoke with Owner directly on the phone and determined a date when a rental boat was available. So she went ahead and placed a deposit via the online form, only to be emailed stating the boat was available that day but not until 4pm which was way too late for us. My wife responded to his email in a friendly manner stating this was perfectly okay and to reschedule us for another weekend (Father's Day) a month out. In which the Owner replied, in an extremely rude way, stating she needs to call him and not email about this as his website states and that she (a paying customer) was wasting his time (even though HE reached out to HER via email first(?) + it was after business hours on a weekday). We tried to relay to the Owner this timeline and requested a refund as we were taken back by his rudeness - only to receive an arrogant message back of "good luck finding someone else".
Would NEVER recommend a business with an Owner who speaks to a paying customer like this, nor references them as "wasting his time" when they are trying to GIVE HIM MONEY for his business's services. Do yourself a favor and take your money about anywhere else but here. read more
