"stalls" are sectioned to what looks like 2 target holders each, with about 3 in total. I'm not sure if this is just for pistols on a normal day though. For the Quiet Riot and Silencer Co event, they brought out an assortment of shotguns, bolt action rifles, semi automatic rifles, sub / compact rifles, and some pistols. Each had a suppressor from Silencer Co. I've shot various semi auto rifles before with a suppressor equipped, and the weight distribution was usually front heavy. Even though most of the bolt action rifles were attached with bi-pods. Everything just felt very balanced. Positioning and sighting the targets through the scope was pretty easy. Though some scopes were sighted beyond I guess the 25 yards that the demo had everything setup for. Though we couldn't shoot a full magazine of ammo; lines weren't that long to come back and try another caliber / gun. My favorite was the Les Baer tactical recon chambered in .308. Normally this type of round in my cousins Remington rifle, just about tears my shoulder out of socket from the recoil. But with the custom Les Baer rifle they had to demo, recoil was barely there and very manageable. This is going to be on my wish list and will be saving up for one. {Summary}: I'm not sure how normal operations are like for a weekend day at the Griffin Gun Club, but everyone one seemed pretty friendly and just enjoying the sport. This is why I'm still not ever going to pick up golf, which would probably put me to sleep if I wasn't driving the cart around and doing donuts. Don't get me wrong, I don't view firearms as toys. But as tools to defend and protect myself and the people I care for once you are properly trained to use one.

They are always extremely nice and friendly. Attentive to the safety protocols of the range and very helpful if you have a question. Their gunsmiths are unmatched with both experience and quick service. Now, for the gun store part: I have never seen a store this size that literally has everything you could need. No it is not a mega store like some in Atlanta but that is mainly overkill. Do not see what you are looking for? No problem, they will order it and match the price. This is the only range / gun store that I actually feel welcome and appreciated as a customer.

There was plenty of action going on in the store between customers and people signing up for the range. It was a bit overwhelming but died down a bit as my visit continued. I've been trying to narrow down CCW, competition and home protection guns. Went in to try a few out. The ladies at the rental counter were very helpful. They offered recommendations but I tried a Bodyguard 2.0 for CCW. I love the size of it. The magazine kept falling out but they were helpful with just exchanging it for another to try. I then tried a S&W M&P EZ Shield. It had quite a few safety features without having a thumb safety to toggle. I found it easier to use the front and rear sights on that one than the Bodyguard. Anyway, back to the range. There were 7 bays, it felt a tad bit claustrophobic for me... simply because this was my first time in an indoor range. I normally do outdoor. But it served the purpose and I would definitely return. I decided to purchase and was assisted by Josh, shout out to him... he was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He works on the weekends... ask for him. But I'm sure everyone is just as knowledgeable.

The instructors were respectful friendly and very knowledgeable. They offer various levels so I plan to keep going until I reach the top. Don't be alarmed that they don't provide you with their location right away. It's a safety thing. I live in Winston GA and it took me 20 minutes to get there so that should give you an idea of where there are located.
