This is the best preserved gold rush-era hotel we stayed in. Really a neat place with an incredible atmosphere.
Owned by the same people who run the Comfort Inn strangely. I want to come back and see all the other crazy rooms. read more
This historic hotel is perfect! Assuming you want to sleep in a meticulously restored room in a hotel continuously hosting travels since 1877. Stairs are required. Each room is glorious. There is a classic community parlor leading to a beautiful and spacious balcony overlooking the awesome little town of Eureka. If it weren't for high speed wifi & color TV in the ruin I could imagine living in an old west town. The staff are fantastic and super accommodating. The only awkward thing is that the clerk is in a separate building a block away. Lots to eat and see in this vintage but vibrant town. Some say the hotel is haunted. I ain't afraid of no ghosts! read more
