I was used to waiting minimum 2 hours to get my taxes done. Not here! I was greeted by friendly people and was sitting down with Manny in about 5 minutes. My whole visit took I believe less than an hour. Not only did Manny "do my taxes" he gave me information and advice for the future which will be so helpful. I did not feel rushed and when I walked out I knew I had found the perfect "tax guy" - CPA! He even encouraged me to call during the year if I had questions. I cannot change the city Yelp has me living in but I live in Raynham, Ma so Taunton was a quick trip. Although irrelevant the office is lovely. We…read morehad our 2011 taxes done there and she offered to provide a second look at our 2010 taxes and redo them. She filed an extension for both and then was out of contact with us for months with all of our paperwork. The phone was shut off, no one was answering emails, the doors were closed during business hours. I finally googled and googled until I found her CELL PHONE and called it to track down my taxes! Then she made me prove that I had paid for the services and I had to contact my bank to get a copy of the debit transaction! We got to her office, it was in shambles and literally had to help her hook up printers and internet connection and play IT TECH SERVICE for 2.5 hrs trying to get this done. Completely clown shoes operation. This occurred in October of 2012. Needless to say last year I went somewhere else! Fast forward to this Saturday and I receive a letter from the IRS stating that I never filed my 2011 taxes. So basically I paid her for nothing and I now have the pleasure of dealing with the IRS. It took them months to file my taxes even when I dropped off my W2s in February, the accountant, Maria didn't send them in until June! I got the lowest return ever when it finally did come in and I have no idea where my state refund went because I never received it. I received numerous letters from the IRS because they improperly filed my taxes and now I had to pay fees for them incorrectly submitting w2s that did not match. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I'm pretty sure Maria no longer works there, as she struck lucky on a million dollar scratch ticket.
