The office was in a charming historic building in down town Providence. Everything from the hallways to the elevator to the pendulum clock in the office just reminds of a more classical time in the history of Providence, perhaps a better time. Nikki is very kind and welcoming. She has a positive attitude. We sat with her and her father, Larry. They know how to ask all the right questions and they gave us a detailed and thorough consultation. I was really impressed with their professionalism. Best of all, the consultation was FREE! And here is how I know Nikki and Larry are trustworthy. They advised us against a specific business plan and showed us its shortcomings, although they could have made lots of money doing the paperwork for us. This shows integrity. Larry showed me how to do a simple task at city hall that would cost me a mere $10 instead of something that would have cost around $1000 a year. Give them a try and judge for yourself!

After spending an evening at Ed's office we were extremely pleased and confident that we made a good choice but as time went on that took a sharp turn into a ditch. Everyone makes bad choices in business, but for my first year I made the worst - by choosing this CPA. My first year married, and my first year in business has been left in the hands of a man who has not responded and has left me no choice but to contact the IRS explain the situation. I moved back to Rhode Island in August, and started getting connected with agencies in September. Their major clients are Hasbro and CVS, but they work with smaller companies as well. Although extremely short-term assignments are rare (one day or one week), it's not unheard of. I did one filling in for a receptionist for a day - the client was in Down City, and AJ was nice enough to drop me off/pick me up so I didn't need to pay parking fees. Not long after, Faye found me a temporary receptionist/office admin position to pay the bills while searching for permanent employment. I had a couple of interviews with Hasbro, which they also dropped me off/picked me up from. Faye also met with me before I left to give me interview tips and brief me on the company. Even though I wasn't chosen for the positions, I still had my temp job, which the team always asked if I was happy at and if I needed anything. Just this past weekend, I got a full-time job offer from a company I found through my own search. I don't care that my job didn't come from Silverman McGovern; sometimes the job market has dry spells, especially in my industry. My five-star rating is completely based on the wonderful service they provided, and going above and beyond my expectations. They are the best in the business for temporary and temp-to-perm employment. Highly recommended!
