I've been meaning to write a review for Noel Santos and his team for some time. I have been a…read moreclient coming on 10 years. I was referred by a very good and trusted friend. I wanted an accountant who would advise me and my family well and who I could trust for the best advice, to save the most money but to do everything correctly and well the first time so that I would not have to worry. In other words, make sure I would have all the appropriate advice and an account who was looking out for my best interest while doing filings on time and correctly so there would never be an issue. Every year this has been the case. I cannot say enough about how Noel and Karen Wong, who I work with, have helped me make sure that I get all the best advice. I feel trust for Noel and I know that he is looking out for the best. He goes out of his way to make suggestions about what we should do, or look at, to ensure that there be no road blocks ahead. What I also like is that this kind of care and service is why the practice is a good one for people who invest, own property, have children, families, have retirement plans and really the kind of things that come up with life. I have brought my family in as clients as well. What I can say is Noel is intelligent, kind and sensible. He values longterm clients like me and that is why I trust him. He has always come through with the different scenarios. I'm just grateful I found Noel but as I said, he came from a personal reference so I know he's good at what he does. I would like to add here that Karen Wong has been doing my taxes for many years now and she is always so kind, professional, understanding and good. I really know that she cares about her work product and makes sure everything is in order and included for the most accurate and complete return. The front desk, Antonio, and Jennifer are very professional, polite and helpful. I am writing this because I want to pay it forward. I really recommend Noel and if you anticipate life events (joint returns, investments, losses, properties, businesses, trusts, etc.) this is what you need. You get what you pay for and I am here to say, Noel and his team are great. Thank you for all your help and support Noel. Thank you caring about your clients. Thank you!

Think AGAIN! This…read morefirm does NOT represent your best interest. I sought their assistance in filing my return. After so many exchanged emails, they insisted on filing a form that did not represent the true nature of the facts. Even after so many conversations they still can't understand! Unfortunately I had to file and am now caught in a tax BURDEN that was totally undue. It'll cost me more money and time to correct what they filed. ALL of the other CPA's that I've talked to confirmed that the forms should have been filled out in another matter. BEWARE!

He made the entire process so much easier to understand and handled everything with such professionalism, patience, and clarity. From start to finish, Jon broke down all the confusing forms, explained everything in simple terms, and ensured I was getting every deduction and credit I was entitled to. What used to take me days of frustration now takes just a couple of smooth, stress-free meetings. It honestly felt like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. If you want someone who's knowledgeable, trustworthy, and makes income tax less complicated (and even kind of enjoyable!), Jon at Liberty tax is the one to contact. I'll definitely be returning year after year. Also, to anyone who cares, I recommend not to wait til the tax deadline. I was stressed free in February while everyone was scrambling to get theirs done in April.

Due to opening up a big fitness facility last year, and starting a new business, I decided to go on monthly installments for some taxes owed. To make a very long story short, Tim told me specifically he would "Take care of this" as in setting up the Installment plan. I signed the paperwork and THEN, He NEVER even sent the application in which I did not discover until months later. I did see some warning letters which I brought to his attention and then due to being busy as hell unintelligently trusted him remedy the situation. I say unintelligently because he also let me know he would "take care of" sending in a payment to affirm my LLC Status. A check which he held on to for 6 months and never sent in. Well, I have learned my lesson now and will always just call the IRS myself from now on to get the story straight. All I can say is NEVER trust T&D Taxes to "take care of" anything for you. I have never seen a business be in such denial and refusing to own up about a MAJOR mistake they made and I am seriously disgusted by this.

They're well respected in the LGBT community for knowing the tax stuff and about half my clients were gay and lesbian. So, when I needed an accountant to take over for my business, I gave Tim a call. I'll be honest in saying that I really didn't want to work with someone I had a professional relationship with. I didn't need him seeing my nasty bits and pieces. But, Tim and Derrick were incredibly professional and made me feel good about working with them. I can highly recommend T & D Tax Service.
