Major project was doing working in our basement remodeling . He is reasonably priced you and diffently get your value of quality and integrity with Roundtree. Their honesty, dedicaton, committment and pride shows in their work were blessed to found him . Bruce and his group have alway done an amazing job for us and we are looking forward to having him take care of our deck this year. I would highly recommend them.

Bruce, personally, made promises to me directly and just did not keep them. Bruce personally promised to return in January 2023 to "finish up". Bruce was already completely 100% paid in full. I never heard from Bruce again. I emailed, texted, called, and also emailed Bruce via Thumbtack which is where I found him in July 2022. Bruce never returned any of my communication. I waited months hoping he would and I also really didn't want to have to go as far as writing a poor review and filing at small claims court. The job was at a minimum of $50K. That's a minimum. The estimate for the job that I contacted Bruce for was about $3500.00. The job grew substantially. Bruce bragged about how "you'll never have to call another contractor to fix our work". Bruce ALWAYS wanted to be paid immediately every week BEFORE each new part of the job was even completed. I trusted Bruce and so I did exactly what he asked. I never missed a payment. A few months ago because of complications in the bathroom work that Bruce did, I had to call another contractor because of serious problems in the bathroom. My new $3800.00 bathtub, the shower, walls around the tub/shower, floor, and plumbing all have to be redone because if it isn't I'll have a "WATER" problem and "MOLD". I have no receipts, or warranties, from Bruce for the tub or the $4000.00 dehumidifier Bruce bought and installed. I have no recourse if something goes wrong with them. Sure, at the start of the job, Bruce was nice, and polite and kept saying over and over again "my reputation is everything". However, towards the end of the job things changed Bruce had problems with being able to staff the job, he also had to redo work because when he did have people helping they didn't do what they were supposed to, it started to "feel" like he was rushing and I specifically said please don't "cut any corners as you're getting to the end". This isn't okay and Bruce shouldn't be allowed to get away with this. I'm going to "try" to include a couple of photos of how my house was left. I hope you'll be able to see the photos.

Giles Woodworks - New cabinet above fridge matching 30-year old other cabinets.

When we remodeled our kitchen in 1991, with semi-custom cherry cabinets, the space we allowed for a…read morerefrigerator was, we hoped, big enough for any future replacement. The cabinet above was 67 inches from the floor. We never dreamed that almost 30 years later almost every fridge on the market was over 70 inches tall, and the one we wanted was 71-1/2 inches. What we wanted was a cabinetmaker to take out the existing cabinet and replace it with something shorter but that still looked good in the space. One woodworker we contacted said he couldn't take the job, but recommended Giles Woodworks of Milford. Chris Giles asked for additional photos and measurements, and quoted us an acceptable price to build a new cabinet (now the full width of the opening), with doors that matched the rest of the kitchen. He came out to remove the old cabinet, had us visit his shop to verify the color match, then returned a week later (with his daughter as assistant) to install the new cabinet. To say that we are thrilled and delighted would be an understatement. You would never know that the new cabinet wasn't part of the original installation three decades earlier. He was able to match the doors exactly, and the wood and colors also match perfectly. At every step of the process, Chris Giles was professional and made us confident in his abilities. (And yes, he wore a mask when he was in our home, at our request.) We highly recommend Giles Woodworks for your custom woodworking needs.
